Your bottom 5 Iron Maiden albums

TBoS and Senjutsu should have been one album, just like Fear and No Prayer. And it would have been a very nice one, musically speaking.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

I mean, there's a Spitfire in the new poster (cool colors btw, I like it), so I'm not counting on them replacing Aces High with another song.

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Yes, but the EU leg is booked for May/June/July. I assume that Steve wants to play the 2025 set in the US. If there was an American leg of the tour in between the European ones, I could see them changing the setlist for the 2nd EU leg. But considering the fact that the presumed visit in the US...

    RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2026

Since they're not touring the US before the 2nd EU leg, I doubt they'll change anything. I could be wrong, but I'm not counting on any changes. They seem to like the current setlist.

    Judas Priest

American ticket prices are just crazy. The tour was quite successful in Europe, they were playing for their standard audience, but it seems that the US leg is gonna be Operation Rock 'n' Roll pt. 2. Which would be very ironic in this case. They've already announced several European dates for...

    Judas Priest

For a long time I thought that Jawbreaker was just "a c*ck song", until I read Rob's Biblical. In the book, he explains that Jawbreaker has a double meaning. While it's obviously written about a penis, it's also about revolutions. It surprised me to find out about that, I always thought it was...

    The X Factor Vs. Senjutsu

It's not an easy album to fall in love with. It's different from what one could expect from Maiden, but at the same time the signature Maiden stuff still can be heard on TXF. But I like that, I really do. TXF is unique, and I appreciate artists who try to refresh their formula. The effects can...

    The X Factor Vs. Senjutsu

TXF is one of their best albums. Not sure if I can include it in my top 5 at the moment, but I'd definitely rank it really high. It has its flaws, but it's still a great record.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

Complaining about the genre of Ghost's music and making it the centre of the discussion is funny. Because at its core, it's still a rock show. For Skeletour they hired people whose job was to recreate late 70s rock shows, visually speaking. I may post the relevant interview here, if I find it...

What are the most overrrated albums in rock history?

It wasn't a fan favorite, but IMO it was the sign of what was to come. If you take a look at the title track or Heavy Metal (Glenn's solo), you'll see that Ram it Down was more or less a sneak peek at their future work. The Mercenaries of Metal tour was by far the most aggressive incarnation of...

What are the most overrrated albums in rock history?

I can see where you're coming from, but wouldn't this mean that the same can be said about Defenders of the Faith? Which very intense for a 1984 record.

Bayley-era Maiden vs. Martin-era Black Sabbath vs. Ripper-era Judas Priest?

The Bayley era - really good albums (yes, I will always defend the two albums IM recorded with him, despite their obvious flaws), not so great concerts The Ripper era - one good album (Jugulator) and one terrible record (Demolition) - killer live The Martin era - one fantastic LP (Headless...

Poll: Which style of Judas Priest do you prefer?

The funny thing is that both Ken and Rob are still very proud of Nostradamus. Halford even keeps saying that he wants to perform the whole record live at some point, it's one of his dreams that's yet to happen. I doubt they'll ever do that. I like the songs on it, but it is too long. A few years...

Poll: Which style of Judas Priest do you prefer?

The middle section of Freewheel Burning sounds like a newer version of that Exciter moment you mentioned. Priest were still experimenting in the 80s, but the approach was totally different. There's stuff like Out in the Cold, which is something like a half-ballad, it's most of their more unique...

Poll: Which style of Judas Priest do you prefer?

I chose the "leather and studs" option because I love Defenders and Screaming. This is the Priest that made me fall in love with the band. But the Sad Wings-Killing Machine run was overall their best, with no mistakes such as Point of Entry. Painkiller is their best studio effort tho.

    Judas Priest

Ripper said that he'd like to re-record the whole Rocka Rolla album, but it's up to KK. I'm not sure if that's what I really need tho. Technically speaking, Tim is an incredible vocalist. But he lacks the versatility that Rob has. Owens is great when it comes to singing aggressive songs, that's...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

That's why I said it's their "fault", but not their fault. Yes, there are many factors that have an impact on being (or not being) at a concert. But the point is that a person has the theoretical chance to participate in the event.
