I'm guessing Haken isn't the only band to affect a person's future so. Maybe there should be warnings on album covers, Youtube videos etc. so people could take it into account.
Dream Theater: It's been years since I've listened to To Tame a Land. It may have the worst Maiden lyrics in my opinion. The lyrics were the same here, but what a very nice version musically! I liked it a lot!
Tyr: Not bad at all, but D.Theater just was better.
Lord Belial: Cool band name, and...
Don't know about getting laid, but I was thinking: if a guy listened to a certain band, would it stop me from dating him? At first I thought Rammstein, then remembered I was together with someone that listened to them... :p and it isn't that bad, and I don't think there have been bands like that...
Black Sabbath: Ok, but nothing special.
Skyclad: All right, but maybe not 100% me.
Haken 1: The a cappella parts sounded like something you can hear in Finland in Christmastime. Very interesting music, although I'm not sure if I'd put this on my playlist.
Opeth: Okay musically, but the songs...
Sorry to hear all that. :( There was an article on my local newspaper on loneliness, and it mentioned that sometimes people don't find others who they connect with in their social circles. And it isn't their fault, they just need different kind of persons that are not present in those circles...
I was kidding. I mean, I don't like Therapy?'s music, and that's why I didn't vote for them. The stuff about psychotherapy wasn't connected to my opinion on the band, should probably check the level of fun in my humour.
I've noticed I don't always share your taste in music, my loss I'm sure...
You like that type of stuff, then?
What I was thinking as I was listening was that it might make a mean version of Fear of the Dark, if it was sung by a female, in a sexy but seductive and fateful style. There's something exciting about the thought of it being sung by a woman, messes...
Dimmu Borgir is Icelandic, isn't it? Or does Norwegian have the same words? Well, whatever it is, I have a piece of advice: if you want to order sausage on a Norwegian gas station, do it in Swedish rather than English. I nearly couldn't get my sausage, until I tried in Swedish.
Edit...
I wasn't very familiar with Marilyn Manson. Turns out this is one of the bands whose music I don't understand.
Power Trip wasn't my favorite either, but that style at least is more understandable to me.
I really don't like Therapy? Atlantean Codex perhaps wasn't my cup of tea, but I like it...
I don't think the style of the DJ Yahel version fits the story at all. The lady's voice is sexy and laidback, but this is a song about fear, isn't it?
It's been a long time since I heard Transylvania, it hasn't been on my playlist for ages, so I may misremember, but the Iced Earth version...
It's been a while since I've been as distressed. When I'm anxious enough, I can't sit on a chair, I have to sit on the floor. And there was a moment I had to sit on the bathroom floor.
I'm sure it is. I've sometimes watched it on TV, and some of it is really funny and fresh, and not stuffy old stereotypes. But I'm not sure I'd go to a club, because I'd be so afraid people wouldn't laugh to the comedians, which would make me feel horrible.
