Maybe on paper, but man what a perfect song to end with. In 2023 there were a few shows where I got tears in my eyes with the event shirts on the screens throughout the song. That felt like a thank you and a farewell from the band.
And in Helsinki this the year people around me went crazy...
Absolutely. And you can add Murders and Killers too.
I actually think it's a bit funny that a greatest hits set has two fairly obscure Di'Anno era songs in the first three songs.
Bruce sounds good when he alters the vocal line and sings lower, and I certainly prefer it to him sounding like he is dying, but the chorus in Aces High needs that high, soaring vocals to match the energy and the meaning of the song.
I am curious to see the official numbers, but from the pictures 75k looks very likely. The stadium was packed. Maiden biggest ever show outside of festivals was in 2019, maybe Brazil, and it was around 62k tickets sold.
Chile last year was massive too, with 120k sold over two stadium shows. But...
Not for every show. You've got the regular shirts, and then there are event shirts for either a region (UK and Nordics) or a city/country.
There is a UK shirt that covers Glasgow.
Regarding wrong lyrics. I have listened so much to the Ullevi 2005 show, that it seems wrong when Bruce sings the right verse at the end of Murders in the Rue Morgue.
