Maiden could play a kick ass medley of wrathchild, Trooper, Notb, rtht, FOTD ending with the iron maiden. Then stop pause lights dim and straight into stranger in a strange land.....

They played AMOLAD in order. Not sure that was necessary? Mixing it up would keep the fans on tenderhooks for wrathchild.

Let's keep our fingers crossed. My worry is that a legacy of the Beast tour is going to include the usual set list regulars plus tracks covered in last few history tours. I'd love a 90s set list with some tracks off the early reunion era albums. The from here to Eternity best of album I thought...

I do think some of their recent tracks are unnecessarily over long due to repetitive choruses. They seem to have ditched the 3-4 minute romps.

Not sure I want to hear moonchild, evil that men do, madness, clairvoyant and even title track again live. Keep them in the cupboard. Of course infinite dreams, only the good die young, prophecy. Yeah welcome additions to any set list. Another question why don't maiden rotate songs during a tour?

FOTD one of, if not, their worst album?? Wow. It's my favourite!

Completely forgot about That Girl. It would be cool if maiden covered a few B sides in their set list from time to time!

Haha. It is a great song and great live. Just wish it wasn't always the go to set list filler. Similarly I love FOTD but I've heard it live every show I've gone too since 1993. It kinda loses it magic after a while.

SBIT should have featured more SIT tracks and ME the SSOAS tracks plus still life and die with your boots on. ATSS, Aces, Revelations, Wrathchild, Phantom didn't make any sense on the ME tour. Especially as they were all played on the SBIT tour!

I actually have a soft spot for WW! Much prefer to hear that on the next tour instead of Notb, Trooper or Wrathchild for the millionth time!

He wasn't putting a shift in on the 93 tour! Remember Tomorrow was ropey as well! Early Days tour was much better!

I just don't think they like putting the rehearsal effort in. With the exception of SSOASS, ATSS and Prisoner every other track on the ME tour has been a regular set list fillers in recent years. CSIT being shit live in 1986-87 has no relevance. I love em but they are lazy and bloody...

Clearly the band know there are fans out there who would love them to play ATG. So what's stopping them. What's the issue. Put internal squabbles to one side. Do it for the fans. Stop short changing fans with lazy set list fillers.

Of course I meant he wasn't getting the support he should have in my post. 1-2 week rehearsals eh. Perhaps that's why band never delve into their very deep and amazing back catalogue. They can't be arsed to rehearse? Lads shall we have a go at flight of icarus? Nah that'll take a day to nail...

That was a tough read. Really feel for the guy. Didn't have the right monitors. Seems like he was getting the support he should have been from the band or iron maiden Ltd?

Forget ATG, ID, EOTC. Let's start a petition for FOTD to be played in its entirety. Album is only about 50 mins long so plenty of time left in the set for the regulars and at least one underplayed epic!
