New Maiden live album - Strangers in a Strange Land: Somewhere in Paris '86

Shit. Terrible joke. It's my first Maiden gig, and I was absolutely delighted.

Is it worth joining the fanclub?

I found the last one quite interesting. Michael Kenny's interview is worth reading.

    Steve Harris

The new song goes down well live. Harris is really enjoying himself, as usual.

Did I imply that? I wrote that he is his favorite subject.

We actually need something about the whole band. This is centered upon Bruce, who becomes more and more egotiscal, while the others don't seem interested in talking about their jobs. I now understand better why Bruce's vocal performance is sometimes not that good: the acting part of the...

    Mastodon

I've always been amazed to see how few we are here to celebrate this fantastic band.

I'm happy to read that comment. Most of the fans seemed to enjoy Airbourne, but I found them ridiculous at first, and then painful. Motley could be wprst, but we won't have to bear tjem: they are a headlining band.

This album is truly fantastic, and a good surprise, given how disappointing the preceeding was. I think they gained a lot in letting more members contribute. Sultan's was mainly Bill's, while the others have contributed to the last, even Troy. I've missed their last Paris gig, and I hope they...

    Steve Harris

I agree, although some songs of the debut are really good; the problem is the production. I never listen to the first one and prefer listening to bootlegs, as the songs are much better live.

    Steve Harris

I guess some people went to the gigs because of Steve during the first tours, but, believe it or not, there are people who genuinely like them. Count me among them.

World Piece tour actually. And they already supported BL in Canada in 2018. They were fun to listen to.

    The Future Past tour 2023

I do. Never visited Amsterdam before, and I am a bit worried by the lack of any announcement for France: I'm afraid Hellfest could be their only show there.

Exactly. And he was hailed by some journalists as some sort of intellectual. Comes to mind in that respect an interview he gave to a french mag where he explained the lyrics of Revelations. Utter pretention. I immediately hated this side of the character. The man is full of himself.

He regularly proves he is not educated and not particularly clever. He wants the world to think so, but I've never bought that story. He has a fantastic voice, that's it.

    Your Maiden blasphemy

You didn't offend me, your presumption made me laugh. I hope your band will be successful. Youdeserve it.

You should send this to Steve. He is said to pay a visit to the official forum once in a while. No doubt he will ask your advice for his future epics.

You need to get help from a fan club member, althought I don't see the gig getting soldout within a few hours. In 2017, the situation was particular, as the Antwerpen gig opened the tour, and many fans gathered there from all Europe, and it was not immediately sould out.
