Sorry Travis, but I want to know what everyone thinks - which disc is better? For me it's definitely Disc 2 - it starts with three great rockers, then the deep Man of Sorrows and EOTC. On Disc 1 I adore IESF and SOL is pretty cool, but TRATB just kills the momentum. I haven't gotten into TBOS yet.

I think that he said in the trunk interview that they used the midi keyboard during the live recording so they wouldn't have to do a million takes before Bruce got it right (I think he said they wouldn't be done with it until next Christmas :D). It could have been re-recorded on a real piano...

So the licks in IESF might very well be from Adrian's live track. I mean, they do sound like something he would play.

IESF - Adrian's background solo is in the center, and then I noticed that there's a lick on the right channel at 06:56 - 06:58 and at 07:05 - 07:06. Is that still Adrian, maybe his rhythm track from the live recording session? Has anyone figured out yet where their rhythm guitars are placed in...

I thought it was Sailors of the sky, a half-breed, while in fact it is a hardened breed. I thought they were a half-breed because they were loyal to both the king and the airship creed. :P

I finally realized why he sounds a bit strange - it could be his tongue is still swollen or numb a little bit, he sounds like he came from the dentist. I hope he gets back to full form. Anyway, he's a great storyteller! :) Full Bruce Dickinson interview coming soon, says at the end of this...
