Integrity?
Honesty?
Any type of moral compass?
better question is what type of person expects others to do the wrong thing just to reward their own impatience?
I mentioned this before- but I don’t use playlists or anything. Anytime I listen to an album I put it on and hit play. First track to last without skipping.
I’m prolly exceedingly old school in this regard, but I really like the ‘album’ experience and hate the idea of just a collection of...
I also am not listening to the singles any more. When listening to the album I don’t want them to be the ‘singles’ in my mind- I want them to fit into the context of the album.
Not much longer!!!
I just finished Piranesi by Susanna Clarke. It was very good!
I usually read two books at a time, one 'new' and the other a classic. On that front I am working through the Collected fiction of Anton Chekhov (just finished The Black Monk) I am working through the Russians and going on to the...
Man, what happened to the good old days of actually doing to the record store and being excited to get home (no way was your mom going to let that crap play in the car). These days everybody wants to click a few buttons and get it for free. smh.
nope. U.S here- I know of a few others, but they might post from work mostly.
It does die around this time as the euro folks go to bed- but it is fun to wake up to pages and pages of activity lol.
It’s like they get an early start in the maiden offices, they clock in and get the coffee going.
I really wish there was more info about their writing / recording process. Whenever I listen to PoM I just think of them at that hotel during the off season with the waves and the storms and the isolation (romantic I know) but I really like that stuff.
Very excited for the new album, I love that...
Finally! I love the entire album, but I have listened to that song so much and refer the unconverted to that one as an example of their greatness.
I am not a musician at all, but the timing on that song is just so cool, the rhythm or something is just magical.
I think PR is much more of a drip feed these days than traditional single / statement type of thing.
with online and social media people are used to more talking, more hints and comments from bands. Could you imagine one of the fellas posting a video with some of the album playing in the...
Lol. We are not talking about mixtapes. We are talking about editing a single song, copy and paste style.
try doing that with a tape deck and I’ll give you a dollar.
this is wild to me- and unthinkable. If I do t like it I don’t listen to it. No judgment tho, Im sure Maiden could have used the edit button a bit on the song.
I wonder if this ‘edit’ the song is an age thing, maybe the younger folks are more likely to do it?
(get off my lawn)
