Bruce about the heaviness in his solo music:
''Yes, because Maiden, you know, stylistically, obviously there is a lot of influence from Steve in everything. And while sometimes it's heavy, sometimes is proggy and things like that. With me, I do go down a prog mood sometimes, but I just like...
I wouldn't say that for sure, he covers a wider range of styles with his solo music.
I agree about Eternal on 100% (can say the same about Breeding House, Armchair Hero, Ghost Of Cain, Wicker Man, Return Of The King), I like all TOS songs, but the vocals and the overall vibe on Devil On A Hog...
Shadow Of The Gods sounds like pure material from his AOB-TCW-TOS run to me.
Bruce has cited Strange Death In Paradise as one of his favorites, so it has a chance. Any solo song will fit his live set.
Isn't it normal the crowds to be bigger in Europe? For Maiden too. And Bruce's solo career...
So easy votes:
A Matter Of Life And Death - destroys everything here, it's so consistent, no fillers and one of Maiden's best albums, especially as a whole piece. Maybe not to the fullest, but Reunion Maiden in their best.
Attero Dominatus - Sabaton are quality and this album has no weak songs...
The merch is the same as last year (I think), with only 2 new pieces: one is TMP's comic book year one cover, and the other is the art from 2017 reissues (iirc) of his solo albums with TMP calendar.
During the tour, why not, but it's kind of hard to see which song can be rotated with a TM classic (first 3 songs, for a reason, unlike some SW material imo, but there are other cool SW that he should play again, Faith is not that good live) from the set now. The encore? The set is strong, but...
So true, but the quality of the songs is the most important.
While I can't see it or want it to be that drastic, it's probably needed in some way. How can they freshen it up? Better production, more shorter (can't see it now, tbh) and energetic songs (energetic because of Simon, but Steve...
With Bruce's hype, yeah it's possible. But he won't tour solo next year, so several other things/busy is still curious. What, more stuff related to the anniv?

This. I'm always excited about new music. Also, a song like Flash Of The Blade really made me miss such songs in Maiden now, harmonies and drumming. Such a song like it, I wonder why there are no solos. It could have been a single.
Here's The Tower, btw:
IIRC, in the interviews from a...
Bruce: ''The vibe within the band is immense now, just as a side note''.
''And it's not the same show every night. With MAIDEN, it is. I mean, sure, there are variations in the way that this song is better one night than it was last night and things like that''.
It's understandable. Oddly enough, this isn't an issue for me with the album (and in general) unlike a bit with some Reunion albums in overall listen. Maybe it's because of the songs and the emotions. Or maybe it's because of the nature of the album. I can see Judgement Day/Justice Of The Peace...
1.Transylvania (I sometimes wish it had lyrics, it's that strong)
2.Genghis Khan (the break in the middle is key)
3.Losfer Words (could have been longer and with more solos, unlike the others, it's probably stronger than Genghis Khan overall)
4.The Ides Of March (it's short, but really cool)
As much as I love TXF (I like every song), I like SJ even more. Probably a Top 3 album for me. Both are special albums. I just feel SJ's material is overall stronger.
Btw, both albums share similar approaches and vibes.
Definitely The Prisoner. Then: Run To The Hills, 22, Murders, Genghis Khan, Killers, Phantom, Prowler, Transylvania, Iron Maiden...
actually you can say all, Clive's drumming in all 3 albums is pure gold! What a speed and swing! Unique drummer.
Bruce with much better vocals for Flash Of The Blade the second night. Just amazing! The studio chorus vocals are insanely high, but this is current Reunion Bruce at the top. No video screen for it like Tears.

Bruce and Dave in action for Gods Of War's longer intro with the Taiko drums. Such a cool idea, would have been great for Senjutsu (whyyy Bruce...). The song is great for the encore.
Expected and needed change.
Yeah, he just announced his TikTok channel (wow!) with stuff from the tour and regularly posts short footage from most of the shows.

Bruce said here that while he was on tour with Maiden, the band wrote and send him ideas for the new album, like with TOS. The demos are an...
All of that. Sometimes rotating can be harsh (Aquarius with Book most likely), especially with 1 instrumental cover in the set, although Bruce and the band need it, but it's also good for us. The set is 2-3 songs shorter. Odd. For rotating, he said that with 7 albums he still has a lot of songs...
