Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Odd for their habits now, but it's certainly better than doing a 3rd leg (usually with European shows). Maybe the 2027 plans play a role. This tour is special and their biggest, the demand is there and they didn't visit some European markets with the previous tour. They always start tours in...

    Bruce Dickinson

I like both versions of Flash Of The Blade's chorus equally. But the studio one has an impact for sure. He said he won't play co-written Maiden songs. Well, bummer.

    Primal Fear

Faster and shorter songs can be not exciting enough, yes. Typical formula too. I understand you about it. The album is not that fast or aggressive, only 3 songs are. Not the full album ofc (for me, 8-9 of the songs are good), but they manage to sound fresh enough for me with this album...

Your bottom 5 Iron Maiden albums

For me, the longer stuff is usually not inconsistent like the shorter songs, at least for Maiden. The first two 90's albums are a good example.

Album Cover Art Cup - ROUND 1 (Ladder 5)

British Steel is an iconic metal cover, but I've never been a big fan of it. ...And Justice For All wins this round. Impactful. Even without background.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES 2025 Tour Thread *SPOILERS INSIDE*

''Behind the scenes'' like En Vivo. Niice. Expected for this tour/celebration. Hope there will be comments from everyone. It's official by Maiden, right.

Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

Best known, yes. Best visuals, that's subjective. Especially for this tour. Clairvoyant - agreed. Um, because they've done it before on previous tours?

    Sabaton

Is there a new trend of releasing half of an album as singles? I don't like it at all. The new single is feat. another band. ''Crossing The Rubicon'' sounds fun (riffs and chorus), but really by-the-numbers (unique style, though), probably more than the other singles.

5 Songs For a New Maiden Fan

Not an easy question. Probably: Trooper Aces High Hallowed Be Thy Name The Wicker Man Hell On Earth

    Bruce Dickinson

It's a bit surprising (given the 1st leg), we're still like halfway through the tour, but I didn't expect many changes for this 2nd leg of it anyway. He has to save songs for the next tour.

Best classic Iron Maiden melody or twin guitars?

The examples are quite a few for me: Brave New World (essential), Aces High (essential too), Out Of The Silent Planet, Hell On Earth, Time Machine, Red And The Black, If Eternity Should Fail, Rainmaker, Dance Of Death, Judgement Of Heaven(!), When Two Worlds Collide, Afraid To Shoot Strangers...

Your bottom 5 Iron Maiden albums

Ok songs, wow. Albums like FOTD, VXI and DOD aren't fun? Agreed.

    Fictional Album Art

@Azas , I have some suggestions. It's probably quite the work, but you're the best at it. :) You can basically do a single cover for every Maiden song. But I really liked Primal Fear's new album's booklet - I had a similar idea for Senjutsu's songs here--->>>...

Songs where the guitar shadows the vocal melody

I think you're right with these. There's probably more. I like this feature, as much as I like pure riffs. And it's needed for some songs like Parchment, Hell On Earth, Wild Wind, Silent Planet, Brave New World, Aces High, Prowler...

    Primal Fear

Woah, the new album has a great booklet - with artworks for every song! It's called Earbook and it's bigger. Now that's how you do it! They may have been made with AI, but they look so cool. And they create a whole world for the album (which is special), plus they're thematic. Eagles, the one...

Run For Your Lives World Tour 2026 Rumours and Speculation

I know this feeling. It's because our favorite band is active with something, and for me personally because of the possibility of them jumping straight into a new album tour next. This celebration is cool, the stage set too, but nothing is more exciting than new music. And most of the setlist...

Album Cover Art Cup - ROUND 1 (Ladder 5)

In this round I'm a fan of only my nominee, which I recently found out from a recent project of Mistheria. Not just the theme, but the colors as well. I have to skip this round.

Maidenfans Best Albums of the Millennium: 2007

''For The Heart I Once Had'' is nice, but ''Whoever Brings The Night'' needed a more melodic approach. I appreciate such a bit different songs like ''Sahara'' and ''The Islander''. Iirc, I enjoyed The Odyssey (at least the stuff I remember) and I've listened to other songs of theirs here and...

    NOW PLAYING

Really good and solid album indeed. The bonus songs, at least 3 out of the 4 as well. Big return to form. There are some not interesting or that good songs (at least 1 or 2), but the last 2 Reunion albums are some of their best as a whole piece imo. Which is great. It's that good. These pair of...

    Nicko McBrain

Nicko's drum show. Cool. He needs to be doing stuff. I would like for him to also talk about the making of every album. More is better. Interesting stories about his drum kits, snare drums and that he wanted an icy color for the SSOASS tour drums (he did it with ME tour). Everything is fine...
