Wildest Dreams DVD single - Iron Maiden
Number Of The Beast 2002 Single - Iron Maiden
Days Of Defiance - Firewind
Threshold - Hammerfall
I don't mind that much for Sudden Death as I absolutely wanted to have it on a physical format and Never Dead I only listened it a couple of times on that video game vid so it's new material for me.
The other 3 tracks, yes it's kind of lame.
Re: BEST GUITARISTS EVER GAME! Elimination - Group 5: Round 4
Eddie Van Halen
Jon Schaffer
K.K.Downing
If Marty Friedman can't survive this group it's most likely the end of this game for me.
I enjoy the fact there's always a song like that in each album. It's like a surprise while it doesn't look completely out of place compared to the other heavy songs of the album - besides there are heavier parts on these songs too.
Hardest Part of Letting go is one of my favourites off...
That's another awesome cover.I actually like those fills and little solos here and there. As for Dio you said it all.
He has played with several bands(Yngwie Malmsteen,Talisman,Axel Rudi Pell, Journey, Trans Siberian Orchestra and more) among different music genres.Actually he's known for his...
It's strange because I hear no pop in there. On the other hand I can't see what's so bad about pop music or the so-called ''commercial'' music. The world is filled with ''such'' music better than St.Anger(which is not an accomplishment but anyway..).
So calling it pop/rock doesn't really mean...
Apart from Wildest Dreams which is too generic indeed - still quite enjoyable - the other songs range from pretty good to awesome.Probably the less great reunion album but still it's part of the top-15 albums ever. :D
Insomnia and Prince of Darkness are awesome songs.I don't consider Risk to be a bad album. It does sound different than anything Megadeth have done but I certainly wouldn't have it in the same league with St.Anger.
I'm gonna give a listen to a selection of songs off that record after a long time...
Shot in The Dark - Jeff Scott Soto (Ozzy cover) Looks like it's not an Ozzy lovefest in here. :D This one rocks so much that I can't remember the last time I listened to the original.
Scream Of Anger - Talisman (Europe cover) One of the composers is here but I guess it counts for a cover since...
I like all the 00s stuff with The System Has Failed being my favourite.I'd love to see Friedman coming back but until that happens I'd like to see Broderick soloing the way he does in Sudden Death where he doesn't just try and play as fast as possible and tries some more well-thought stuff...
Re: BEST GUITARISTS EVER GAME! Elimination - Group 5: Round 1
Exactly.
I like some stuff of Oasis but their guitar work is simplistic most of the times and the man just can't be compared to most of the guitarists in the game.Besides, since the REAL Gallagher(Rory) is already kicked out there...
