Besides Steve, everyone in Maiden is a hired gun and earns significantly less. Thats the way the IM company is set up. I think Bruce owns the beer branch and all the guys have shares in the company that owns the merchandise side (if i remember right).

Are the realistic alternatives Doug Sampson, Steve Dawson or Joe Lazarus?

I’m not talking about individual performances, as a whole 1996, 1998, 2023 and 2024 were the worst to see Maiden. 1995 was okay, those b-sides from Kåren are amazing!

I hate to say this, but I’m much more excited for the next tour now. Performance-wise, The Future Past tour has been even weaker than the Blaze Bayley tours. If Bruce stays in top form, next year’s tour could be the best since 2008.
