NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

Having 8 out of 10 BNW songs in the set can not really be compared to having 7 out of 8 songs of VXI in the set lol. There are better and there are worse albums to base a tour on, and even if I personally like No Prayer and Virtual XI they are no where near AMOLAD, BNW and TBOS.

    The Blaze Bayley touring history

I'm going to be diving deep into Blaze Bayley's complete touring history! I feel like his extensive touring history doesn’t always get the recognition it deserves.

No Prayer On The Road: The Dissection

Janick has and had a 80's look, but he fitted into the 90's Maiden!

Which b-sides show would you like to see officially released?

Yes, a great recording. The b-sides were overdubbed and I'm sure they did it with the full thing because Blaze messed up a few lyrics that night!

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

In hindsight, it's crazy to think that at times, Maiden played six songs from No Prayer for the Dying live, while other times, they played seven songs from Virtual XI.

The Oval 1998 - the longest Iron Maiden show ever

Some critics claim that by 1998, Iron Maiden was past their prime, citing that they were out of breath and no longer at their best. However, they proved the naysayers wrong by delivering their longest performance ever that year. On April 22, 1998, they kicked off the Virtual XI World Tour with a...

NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING - Your thoughts…

I absolutely love this album. It's such a shame it didn't get more exposure outside of the 1990-1993 setlists. It was incredible to hear some of it again during 'Give Me Ed 'Til I'm Dead' in 2003—the intro and the singalong were amazing. That tour was fantastic, and it really brought the songs...

    Adrian Smith

Great second single. Both Black Light and White Noise has to be in a setlist in future tours. I know Wasted Years has been in the set for a while, but the Smith/Kotzen material is so strong so they could do a more obscure Maiden song. Gangland?

    Blaze Bayley

Saw his Iron Maiden 30th anniversary tour last year. He is doing a special Iron Maiden set this year again. Hoping for fewer Virtual XI songs this time around, they almost played the full thing. Futureal, Clansman and Educated Fool would still be great. It's been a while since he did Blood on...

    Ed Hunter

In terms of setlists yes. That was one of the best, to bad they haven't done a live album from that tour yet. Preferably from one of the shows that had Stranger in a Strange Land in it. But wasn't Ed Huntour basically the Virtual XI stage set?

    Adrian Smith

How will Simon Dawson change the look and sound of Maiden?

Sometimes new members is great. Andy Sneap and Ritchie Faulkner have made Judas Priest sound the best they have since the '80s. However, I'm not sure if having an almost 70-year-old drummer is the right choice.
