    Prowler

In terms of the short, fast punky numbers that they were doing on the first couple of albums, I think this is the best. Good song and I really like Paul's vocal and great drumwork. Dodgy lyrics and a bit one dimensional though. In the context of Paul's albums, I'd score it a 9. But in context...

    Sanctuary

Not a fan of this. Good energy and the chorus gives you hope it's going somewhere but it's just quite a bit below the standard of later Maiden stuff and even the standard of this album. 5

    Remember Tomorrow

Absolutely love this track. Superb atmosphere. Nice soulful vocals from Paul. Great solos. But best of all that superb, slow heavy riff. This seems like a song that could have been on later Maiden albums. I have to say though, listen to some of the Bruce versions of this. Ullevi, Rock am Ring...

    Running Free

It's a fun song and I actually quite like the rhythm section on it. But for some reason the chorus grates a bit. I love a lot of the early, punkier stuff but this is that bit too simplistic. 6

    Phantom of the Opera

Simply magnificent. From the genuis and thrilling opening riff, the stunningly tight bassline to the magnificent chorus. It's such a mature track for a first album. I absolutely adore the 'keep your distance' bit. It just adds so much originality to the song. Bruce took it to another level...

    Transylvania

Not a huge fan of Maiden instrumentals. I prefer both of the ones on Killers in any case

    Charlotte the Harlot

A great fun, punchy track. One of the very few I think I prefer Paul to Bruce. 7
