BNW is the glossiest sounding Maiden album, IMO. Glossy can also mean clean, I suppose. Powerslave, to my ears, is one of the edgiest, roughest sounding albums they produced. It almost has a grim, dirty 2000s “stoner rock” sound.

Of late I usually go one setlist.fm and find out the setlist to a show before I go. I'm finding that it takes something away from the show. It takes away the, "Oh..wow! Nice song choice!" moment. Yea, I know when I can go take a piss, but that's a small positive. So I think for this show...

Yea. I remember Uncle Tom's Cabin. It wasn't bad...for them. I should also admit that Madalaine by Winger wasn't too, too awful. It had a little edge to it.

I wasn't a fan. And I would even go as far to say that Cherry Pie is the worst hair band single ever released. Good video...but awful, awful, lazily-written song. And I mean the melody is lazy...not the lyrics. Dumb lyrics are fine in a party song. But that melody...ugh.

I am not a huge fan of this genre as well. You won’t find any Winger, Warrant, White Lion, Slaughter, Poison or Bullet Boys on my list. So I am kinda picky when it comes to “hair bands”. I guess I could have included Twisted Sister's Stay Hungry. That's not a terrible album.

For me you are missing the only two great songs on NPFTD: Mother Russia and the title track.

I think Trespass is waaaay underrated. I have the box set of the 1970-1975 years and the surround sound versions are freakin' amazing. I love being wasted at 2am and cranking them. Ha.

TBOS is long in time, but not long in number of songs...it only has 11 songs. When it comes down to it, Fear of the Dark is one song longer. Take away the 18 minute Empire of the Clouds and it's a single disc album. That being said, I'd like to see a TRUE double album with up to 16-18 songs...
