I like the Captain Harris channel. They are some folks that express their opinions, right or wrong. Exactly what we do here btw.
Their review was too negative, because she didn't like the AI stuff, which is acceptable. Then, some people are too attached to some band members. Honestly, I love...
I think this time around it's not that dramatic. Some fans don't like the screens and especially the AI shit, some others wanted some more deep cuts, and everyone complains about Aces Low (rightfully so). Fair complaints overall, imo.
(I wanted some more deep cuts, but don't really care. The AI...
Yeah, even 70s rockers like Alice Cooper use in-ears now and he didn't use them for years. I don't know any other singer that doesn't use them nowadays tbh.
Bruce needs those monitors more than ever. I don't know why he still doesn't like in-ears. When he is on his platform, he sometimes loses the tempo or the key. Imagine Aces Low without the monitors...
Nah the Legacy tour had some deeper cuts and also the 2022 version had 3 new songs. It was a well balanced set, especially the first version. Now, I am a bit disappointed about the setlist of this tour. I don't recall being disappointed about the Legacy setlist, at all. I mean they played 2...
None of them has as many high notes as Aces or WED.
It was still not that good. It was passable. The only time I actually thought he did really well was during the Somewhere Back in Time tour.
I don't think he ever got the range to sing Aces High well (consistently). Of course, when he was younger, it was easier to hit the high notes, but to hit them for an entire song consistently was always a trouble for him. Songs like Aces and WED were always really difficult to perform and...
I think we have 3 facts here:
1. Bruce did the right thing to not even try to sing the high notes, while being ill. Also, he had really good control of his voice, while singing his alternative vocal melody.
2. It sucked, because the song needs these high notes and this energy in general to be...
Bruce did a good job to protect his voice.
The result was bad, because it's a song that needs energy, high notes etc. It needs to be like the studio version to work. Bruce sounded like Ian Gillan nowadays.
It's nice that Bruce protected his vocal cords from exploding, but the song sounds bad...
Bruce is definitely sick and I like what he does with the altered vocal lines. I prefer that to his strained barking. BUT, this is not Aces High. It doesn't sound right and it wouldn't sound right if they down tuned it also. They should just retire it. That's all. They won't do it.
I mean, they should have realised from the rehearsals or from the 2022 tour that they can't handle it. This time around at least the rest of the band can handle it. It's only Bruce, now. 2022 was much worse
