I agree completely.
But just for the sake of the sake of the thread I'll say 1985, because of Powerslave like riffs in some places + keyboards which would be SiT.
But yeah... not really. This is Maiden showing something new and it's so amazing to see. My brain keeps aching when I read about...
If Eternity Should Fail
Speed of Light
The Great Unknown
The Red And The Black
When The River Runs Deep
The Book Of Souls
Death or Glory
Shadows of the Valley
Tears of a Clown
Man of Sorrows
Empire of the Clouds
Iron Maiden
Stranger In a Strange Land
Hallowed Be Thy Name
Talking about classics... I now Adrian said they won't play SIASL anymore... But I hope he changes his mind!
That is one classic I would be on the verge of tears hearing.
I hope they play almost no classics. None. Of the old songs there should only be obscure ones.
It would be perfect for me, and I would stand with a sinister smile while giggling, thinking about the "play classics" people in the stadium.
Moahahahaaa
Haha... I have both SSOASS and AMOLAD in the absolute top.... and I'm pretty sure this one will end up there as well.... maybe dethrone them all.
Now I'm also of the opinion it's a bit silly and unnecessary to rank albums, they are all good in their own way, it's different music, it's there to...
I'm really not feeling any of it, and I'm a guitarist myself since quite some time.
Since he's "one million times better than that usually", don't you think maybe it sounds like he intended it to sound?
Sounds great to me, which is what matters.:D
Yup.. it's illegal.
Well, it does hold water. My argument was that the people listening to it before the release will help the sales. Pirating as a whole obviously doesn't help, but we can't compare with how the record industry looke dlike decades ago. It was more specific, that downloading...
Illegal doesn't necessarily mean it's wrong. As I said, you're getting stoned in parts of the world for illegal things that aren't wrong to do, like sex outside marriage. Many things are illegal that aren't wrong. As a wise man once said, stupid laws exist to be broken.
BREAKING THE LAW...
Yeah, I kind of seeing it as having ordered the album, but then the record store contacts you and says "hey, if you want you can have it in advance, evn though we're not really allowed to". Would I then say "No, no! Of course not! I will wait until the release date!". No... of course i would...
So? A lot of things are illegal. The law isn't always the most logical or best thing, unless you think we have the world perfectly worked out. Or would you be saying the same thing in Saudi Arabia or the Islamic state?
And there will always be a demand regardless. It is quite ignorant to think...
There are different 192kbps ones. I had two, deleted one of them since it sounded like shit. Nothing wrong with the other one on the other hand. I don't regret listening at all, so good! I never understood why you should wait when you can listen to what you love! Of course I'm still buying it...
Album just keeps growing on me. People will call me "hyped", but no, the reality is...
That this album is DEFINITELY top 3, PROBABLY top 2, and MAYBE EVEN #1
That's how great I think this album is.
