For me just CSiT take this status. I love the other solos in the album.

Dave's preceding solo is bland. He doesn't deliver Adrian a perfect momento for him to begin his solo. Maybe the fault is on the song itself. Not so rock, not so prog, not so heavy. Sounds dragged. Does not evolve. All I'm saying is based on my own music taste and perceptions, of course.

hmm, that's true. My examples were based on solos built over progressive basis.

I would expect a more fluid, organic solo.. Something like IOA or WTWWB Adrian Smith solo styles. Technically CSit is awesome but... soulless.

It's a crime to compare both solos. But I have to choose one, and I go with SIASL. It's pure magic.

FOTD CSIT doesn't catch me at all.
