No, thank you. I’ve tried. It’s not really that good.
Edit: In my opinion, of course. I recognize that others disagree. But given the obvious pervasive lack of enthusiasm among Maiden fans for Adrian’s (and Steve’s) non-Maiden music, I feel justified in my opinion. (Not that the “crowd” is...
And rightly so. Maiden should remain Maiden. Within that limitation there is plenty of room for exploration and experimentation. Every Maiden album has its own personality and sound. I love them all.
Solo careers allow for expressing different sides of the artists’ musical creativity...
Bruce really likes Laughing in the Hiding Bush. It’s rarely out of the set. It’s pretty good, but why not Road to Hell instead?
I hate set list complaining, and here I am set list complaining. And I’m not even seeing him on this tour.
Agreed. All the Young Dudes blows. It’s my least favorite Bruce song. Can’t believe he’s wasting a spot for that one. He already has one cover song in the set (good to show off the band jamming). Don’t need two.
Navigate the Seas of the Sun should not be on rotation. It should be one of the set’s ironclad guaranteed-to-be-played songs. It’s a top highlight of the show, especially when it goes into Book of Thel.
“That was a dream. This is a nightmare..”

This is the set I would want to see. Starchildren and Gates of Urizen in, Laughing in the Hiding Bush and Gods of War out. Plus Tears of the Dragon moved...
A Powerslave-Seventh Son hybrid tour could work. Good idea. You could get the big classic epics (Rime, Powerslave, Seventh Son) plus some deep cuts and surprises like Infinite Dreams, maybe Back in the Village. (I just watched the Iron Maidens perform BitV, and it sounded awesome live.)
It doesn't suck. It's one of Maiden's best songs that perfectly captures the raw aggression of the early band. It's just "cool" for Maiden forum hipsters to hate on it.
