Some dumb comments in that Guardian review:
- "Time is on my side!” he (Bruce) roars, as guitarists Dave Murray, Adrian Smith and Janick Gers ramp up the tension on atmospheric opener Caught Somewhere in Time."
Should be "time is always on my side".
- "But the gambit doesn’t always pay off...
I'm glad they toned down the theatricality for this tour. All the props and costumes on the LotB tour kind of distracted from the music, in my opinion. But I know a lot of people loved it.
If they’re going to pull out a deep cut from Seventh Son, how about Infinite Dreams instead?
But I guess Steve doesn’t want to play it. Too much personal trauma in the song from Steve’s nightmares, probably.
I don't get Steve's obsession to play Only the Good Die Young. It's a good song, but there are so many more deserving Maiden songs that should be played before it.
I did get drunk at one Maiden concert in 2009. Enjoyed the show immensely. All the other times I was sober, mostly. Maiden is good sober, drunk, or high, I think.
