Re: Metallica writing material for new album There were 25 songs written for DM, and 14 were recorded.  Only 10 were actually on the album. There are also tons of unreleased songs from the Presidio recordings, about 2001.  I am curious as to how much unreleased stuff Metallica has.

Re: 'Dream Of Mirrors' Amazing song!  One of my favorites!  :D I'm not sure on the song meaning...but I believe it's about deja vu.  The narrator of the song has "dreams" and comes to find that "the dream is true".  It might also be about someone going insane, I'm not sure.  That's my opinion...

Great info!  Steve surely has loads of unreleased material laying around, and I'd love to hear all of Iron Maiden's unreleased stuff.

Why?  Is the song "satanic"?  I know it seems to be about religion, but the song meaning confuses me.

I'd like to see some releases of unreleased material.  They could also include demos, and outtakes and such.  I'm sure they probably have at least some stuff.

Maybe a little off topic, but in my newspaper class I wrote a review of "The Final Frontier", and my teacher said it was one of the best things I had ever written in her class.  :bigsmile:
