LEGACY OF THE BEAST WORLD TOUR 2022 - **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

they sound incredible even far back (in the lawn or in the high-up nose-bleed seats). don't miss out on a lawn ticket - I danced my ass of (JIG style) to parts of The Clansman and Sign of the Cross and had the time of my life. Trimmed some belly fat, sweated out some impurities, had goosebumps...

    The Future Past tour 2023

Count me in as team CSiT. Sea of Madness is a great song (doesn't quite hold a candle to Caught Somewhere in Time though) - but there's quite a few soaring vocal parts that would be just as hard (if not harder) than the high vocal parts in CSiT. Also, Bruce gets less time to rest between...

Do you prefer Maiden concerts indoors or outdoors?

Outdoors was quite loud and I was in the lawn. Didn't need ear protection but I feel that I would need to wear earplugs in an indoor venue. I'm in my 40's, so these ears have heard better days.

    The Future Past tour 2023

The Angel and The Gambler is my young (9 years old) son's favorite Iron Maiden song. Aces High is his 2nd fave.

    The Future Past tour 2023

Heaven Can Wait will most definitely be played (whether we like it or not). PERFECT setlist contrast to Hell on Earth.

    The Parchment

2nd (and only by a hair) to Lost in a Lost World. those piledriving riffs in LIALW (along with the plum gorgeous lilting intro and - especially - the outro) make it my fave on the disc. Parchment, LIALW, Hell on Earth, Time Machine, and Darkest Hour are all easily in my Top 30 all time Maiden...

    The Future Past tour 2023

both Time Machine and DoFP are nearly begging to be played live. Great energy in both tracks.

    Death Of The Celts

I've noticed more people coming around to liking DoTC more as time goes by. I feel like I"m still missing the boat. I do enjoy the song, but there hasn't really been any areas that have grown on me (as every other song on the album has) over time. Is there anything I may be missing -...

    The Future Past tour 2023

Where Eagles Dare may be a better "Classic 80's" song to perform (for Bruce) over Aces High - as Bruce ages. WED affords more (and lengthier) breaks for Bruce to regain his breath and vocal stamina.

I mean, its possible to agree with some aspects of the "plank" of the right while agreeing with more aspects of the "plank" of the left, I suppose?

LEGACY OF THE BEAST WORLD TOUR 2022 - **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

Metal is a very trad genre IMHO. Contrast metal with alternative rock (or a band like Radiohead) where constant evolution and trying new things is more important than respecting what came before. Many of Maiden's lyrics uphold (or at least give subtle praise to) tradition. YMMV of course...

LEGACY OF THE BEAST WORLD TOUR 2022 - **CONTAINS SPOILERS**

Bruce on Aces High didn't sound great at the California shows. He did however sound *fantastic* on Flight of Icarus at the California shows.

The three weakest IM tracks of the 80s?

I never feel the urge to listen to Gangland, and rarely do I feel the urge to listen to Heaven Can Wait. I remember even in my younger days (I was infatuated with SiT even then), that I kept waiting for a section or part within HCW to break out and really grab on to me. I liked it but never...

The three weakest IM tracks of the 80s?

Losfer Words Genghis Khan ..... then it gets really hard after this.

    The Future Past tour 2023

Senjutsu is my favorite Reunion-era album also - yet the title track is only a shaky 7 IMHO. Really glad that the album takes off and never really lets up after the just good (but not great) opening track. Everything from Stratego on out is an 8, 9, or a 10 (I'd probably only rate Stratego...

    The Future Past tour 2023

Incredible guitar runs in Another life. Ferocious and melodic - I can see every band that took metal heavier and harder (especially Slayer and Anthrax) taking notes here.

    The Future Past tour 2023

I'd say that starting SiT tunes is almost a given. Maiden like to mix things up a bit from tour to tour (thematically, if not so much in the songs played department), and since they've recently started with Senjutsu songs, they'll come out of the gate with SiT songs to start the set. Time...

Partially agreed -- and to give a bit of ground to your side, Bruce should be able to tell by looking at Nicko's movements (if not Davey, H, and Janick's movements) which part of RTTH they're on at any given moment. That being said, many threads on the Rush boards alluded to the first few...
