    Pink Floyd

The Division Bell is superb, I was so disappointed with TER as is just seems like a bunch of outakes that didn’t make the cut for TDB. Roger Water’s latest album is very good. I can’t help wishing the material along side Gilmour’s album combined for a final PF album. Can you imagine trying...

    Live regrets

I remember the 93 tour being advertised in the paper for Milton Keynes(?) and GNR seemed like the most uncool band in the world at that point. A lot of people just wanted them to go away

    E tickets

Yeah I did that at the barclaycard arena or NIA Birmingham last year. They were very generic tickets though. I doubt the NEC will do that this year.

Favorite Picture disc you have seen or own?

Has to be my copy of No Prayer with the tailgunner cover, it’s way better than the grave version.

    Blaze Maiden or Bruce solo?

I prefer AOB to anything Maiden has done from Blaze to the modern era. That’s not to say it’s bad, just AOB kicks ass.

    Metallica

I think the price is worth it, they play for 2 hours and mix up the set lists, best atmosphere of any gig I’ve been to If they play ‘in the round’ again, even a nosebleed won’t be bad

What type of Blaze-era Iron Maiden fan were you?

I was a huge Maiden man during the “real live era” I was convinced Maiden would continue to dominate with Blaze, I bought tickets for the tour through the fan club presale( by mail back then). I thought the gig was great but it was obvious Blaze just didn’t cut it. I was ultra disappointed...

I actually like Women In Uniform when it used to kick off the First Ten Years video.

    E tickets

What’s your opinion about e tickets? Would you prefer a souvenir type ticket? Some bands do this even if they are printed tickets. And collectible, I have a stack old tickets stubs. A print out of an email is pretty lame.

General fan vibe during the Blaze days

Something tells me Martin Birch wouldn’t have put up with that nonsense.
