Yes! It's how I came across the band I'm currently into. Ningen Isu - Ai no Nirvana (愛のニルヴァーナ; Love Nirvana) Their first release was an EP in 1989, but they only became internationally famous when Heartless Scat, the single from their 21st studio album, went viral on YouTube.

A question: what do you think of when you use the word "face-melting" to describe music? The only two things I personally use it for are the opening to Stained Class by Judas Priest and the final guitar solos in Heartless Scat by Ningen Isu.

There's a good chance Senjutsu (the song) is actually about China. I mean, "fight now for dynasty"? The second verse about various invaders (such as "nomads who come from the plains") is also a likely clue. The song was even called "The Great Wall" while they were making it!

I had a long period of not having any dreams... until a couple of weeks ago, when I started going to bed before midnight. Then I started getting some interesting ones. I'm currently trying to aim for at least 9 hours of sleep a day. How do you do that? I don't usually have nightmares - instead...
