Thin Lizzy's Massacre. So much so Maiden covered it. Also, you could probably drop this one in the middle of any Maiden album and it'd be a good fit. The studio version is on Jailbreak, but live version has a bigger sound.

I've never understood the need to choose one over the other. They've both spent time as my #1 over the years. I'll probably catch hell for this, but I may as well get this out there right off the bat... Yanny has never spent time as my #1, but it has nothing to do with him being the 'new guy'...

I have a handful of posts already, but anyhow, here goes. I discovered Maiden while in boot camp in 1983. When got to go to the PX for the first time, I bought a Walkman cassette player. There were dozens of country music, pop, R&B, etc. There was only 1 cassette that was looked even remotely...

I can't remember all of the ones I've seen, but I remember Malmsteen in Philly, pretty sure Anthrax in Philly as well, Accept in Colorado, and Motley Crue in Germany. There are three others, but I'm drawing a blank right now.

As far as the Murray/Smith solos library goes, Revelations is, without question, my all time, #1 favorite Maiden cut. Every time, and I mean every time, I hear Revelations, I listen to the solos twice. I mean, that song is 35 years old and I still get goosebumps.

For me, I'd never take a child to see Maiden that was too young to take care of themselves. I don't want to keep one eye on the stage and the other on a child. When I go to see Iron F*cking Maiden, I will be 100% focused on Iron F*cking Maiden.

I've read five of these, and have four others in my Kindle. (free public domain RULES!!)

I'd settle for a signed cd and a couple of tee shirts. But that's just me.
