Agree with the above.
Aces has been slagged off so much since it`s 2022 appearance later in the set that it seems to me to be something that people are waiting to see fail on this tour. The 2 versions i saw weren`t bad at all but even if one of them was badly sung i don`t think for a minute the...
If there is another tour we know where we stand if we are in one of the camp`s. The `Enjoy it ` camp (i am a member) will go and love it and the `Maiden Suck` camp will save their money and sit at home and watch Netflix instead.
Such a shame that you didn`t enjoy it, and as a result are done with Maiden live. Having seen the show twice i struggle to believe it was that bad but i respect your opinion as you were their on the night and performances do vary.
I can`t agree with your opinion on another tour though.
Agreed,
A Fu..up or two is all part of performing live anyway isn`t it, they are only human and these aren`t straight forward songs. They have been rare on this tour so far.
Nicko messed up NOTB the other night.
Agree with that, total respect to both Paul & Blaze but the only none Bruce album i really listen to is Iron Maiden which i still think is one of all time great debut albums.
Difficult choice as that is a list full of absolute classics whether an epic or not technically. Phantom,Hallowed,Revelations, Powerslave, Rime are pretty much tied first for me.
Option 1 without doubt for me. I think the albums are generally better than the reunion but it`s also linked to the fact that this was the time i found the band and metal for the first time and just thought , oh yes this music is for me.
Great to see Nicko back playing and sounding great . I would have loved Infinite Dreams too on this tour but nothing else to get over excited about in that setlist for me.
We were fortunate enough to see Senjutsu & Stratego live in 2022 and enjoyed both although i have to say Senjutsu was a bit of an uninspiring concert opener for me.
The dedication and support of a band over many decades that some people might have will inevitably bring out that sentiment, i wouldn`t personally knock them for it if that band is their musical passion.
My point on AC/DC is unfortunately they are clearly nowhere near their best and quite...
Although that is an accurate take on the statement the current tour most certainly isn`t below my expectation for a band of 50 years with all members in their 60`s.
I respect everyone`s opinion but am genuinely baffled by anyone who thinks this tour is poor even if there have been better ones...
Totally agree that people have a different taste or viewpoint , that`s an issue with a band with such a back catalogue, how do you please everyone. I loved Rime but would have done without SSOASS personally, it killed the momentum.
I aren`t telling people to enjoy what they don`t like but there...
Poor argument for what?
Correct, if you can`t enjoy your favourite band still putting on a show like this after 50 years then i doubt you`d ever be happy.
