RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Yeah, I agree that this could've been the "Somewhere Back in Time" of this decade in terms of market appeal, media coverage and all that and hence a good opportunity to scale up the production as well. Then again, since the basic concept of their stage show is rather impressive and works with...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

It's clearly impressive and interesting enough, given how well they've done and still (basically) sell out most of the shows in most of their major markets. Of course they could invest more on production values, have bit of a different marketing strategy and whatnot that could/would result in...

TREASURE ISLAND - New Maiden Album (June 6)

Still no Majesty of Gaia, huh? Perhaps it'll be the 19th album, then.

What if Adrian played/wrote some of Janick's solos?

I've always thought that a couple of Janick's "Blaze era" solos are relatively Adriany, mainly Lord of the Flies & Como Estais Amigos, and I could totally see Adrian doing a very interesting takes on them. Like, they aren't super complex of course, but bit of a H-flavour would fit them well.

    Steve Harris

Thank you for the effort, @Melony! :) Very interesting interview indeed.

    Brave New World - Album

I probably pharsed my sentence(s) very poorly, but isn't that basically what I meant by saying that the production "--underline(s) various aspects of a song, e.g punchiness of the riffs or levels, dynamics & power of the rhythmic department. That, along with Bruce's capabilities as a vocalist...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Not necessarily, as certain imagery can very well support songs from different albums than where the visual clue are initially from. I don't believe that they'd just run through the iconic visual landscapes anyway, but mix them up with something new, like the speculated big set piece for...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Props would be a lot more Maidenish way to scale up the show, though. And has it actually been stated anywhere that they'd be using screens that much more anyway? I mean, sure, they've mentioned that they'll be presenting show elements they haven't done before, but they've already used bit of...

    Bruce Dickinson

Perhaps! Jerusalem was quite an important song in the set though and got a lot of play, but for that reason it is totally possible that it might not be played quite as much this year. Many Doors to Hell wasn't exactly a set regular after the first part of the tour last year (basically dropped at...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I wonder if Nicko will still be the one to drop some setlist spoilers. :innocent:

Run For Your Lives Tour: Which Songs from No Prayer for the Dying and Fear of the Dark Are in the Setlist?

Sign of the Cross gained some significant status for being on Rock in Rio, though. And I'm glad it did, as it was one of the highlights on the Legacy tour and I'm so grateful for seeing it live four times. I think the realistic options on No Prayer & Fear of the Dark are more or less limited to...

    Adrian Smith

Adrian's family has evacuated as the wildfire in California reached the edge of their neighborhood. It's looking quite grim for the locals in general. I hope any potential MaidenFans folks out there are safe! On a lighter note, Adrian's wife Nathalie confirmed on her Instagram videos that the...

Official Iron Maiden artwork and fan drawn Eddies (no AI images please)

I don't want to nitpick too much, but the Maiden England 2012-14 version of the Eddie wasn't an inflatable. ;) On 1988 tour it definitely was, and not a very good looking one, haha! But yeah, it's absolutely stunning artwork indeed and one of their the best album sleeve artworks overall! I'm...

Iron Maiden stage Eddies (big and walk on) over the years

Well yeah, the more "lively" shape is definitely a thing that I like in the Virtual XI stage show! To an extent, I can also appreciate the attempt at... uhh creating that abstract-apocalyptic-video game-end of the world-dungeon-thingy or whatever that visual landscape is trying to be. It just...

Run For Your Lives! Setlist speculation thread

That's rather likely, yeah (unless Running Free will be played). I kind of wish that since Run to the Hills is pretty much guaranteed, it would be played somewhere earlier in the set. Bruce has had tough time with The Trooper in the encore, but as a setlist move, I think it's been pretty fresh...

Iron Maiden stage Eddies (big and walk on) over the years

I think that The X-Factor stage & "Big Eddie" are fairly good for what they are trying to be: a scaled-down version of a classic Maiden stage set that brings the album artwork to life. There wasn't much going on, of course, but I think it's a lot more subtle and stylish approach than e.g No...

    Blaze Bayley

It's probably due to his older albums not having years and years of a head start on the platform and Blaze releasing new material quite frequently, which naturally gets at least a short interest & stream number spike. I don't remember the exact details, but if I'm not terribly mistaken, Blaze...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

No doubt most of the set will consist of the songs listed above, but as it has been for the ~3-4 last tours, I think there is a genuine desire within the band to play a handful of beloved favourites often loved by hardcore fans and casuals alike (e.g Children of the Damned, Revelations, Die With...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Really? I didn't follow international Maiden forums that much at the time, but most of the speculation I came across had more or less clear consensus on Aces High being the most likely opener, especially since the tour announcement strongly hinted towards Powerslave-heavy set & stage show...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I can see the familiar signs of the setlist cycle emergencing - although I have to admit that the Alexander the Great thing isn't that relevant anymore! Especially the three speculation archetypes are already represented: Not saying I'm above daydreaming or wishful thinking that borderlines...
