It is and songs like Be Quick or Be Dead are extremely heavy for Maiden but it just doesn't fall into the "thrash trap", at least not for me. It's hard to have anything but love or the original album, there's just so many luscious moments on there. Though I do prefer Bruce singing those songs...

I'm with Seventh Son on this. I think he's paraphrasing. There is plenty of melody but the delivery is too aggressive most of the time and many of us find it funny. It's well played and a lot of work goes into it but it doesn't alter the fact that some of us find Metallica and bands of their ilk...
