    Blaze era help?

Yeah, I didn't wan to be really mean and pick one of the many truly embarrassing versions.

    Blaze era help?

As usual he's all over the place and he's not great on the low parts either: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WgxuZvhWkWs

The Inbetweeners, love the TV show and enjoyed the movie: 7/10.

    Blaze era help?

Yep, Adrian's return to Maiden was as badly needed as Bruce's. There really isn't anyone like him out there. A total original and we're blessed to have him.

    Blaze era help?

:ok: indeed. We've all heard Blaze sing FOTD though Mosh, do you really think he does it better than Bruce ;)

    Blaze era help?

Wasting Love, Fear of the Dark, Afraid to Shoot Strangers, Judas Be My Guide vocally annihilate anything from either "X" album.

    Blaze era help?

Ah come on dude, by that standard my voice is not better or worse than Bruce's - it is different.  :D The simple fact of the matter here is Bruce has more range, more power and doesn't rattle out of key the way Blaze tends to. This makes him a far better singer than Blaze who, quite frankly, is...

The Human Centipede. I'm okay with gore, it doesn't bother me but no fewer than three times I was fighting down vomit. Absolutely despicable movie. Still, gotta give it a point for, albeit disgusting, originality 1/5.

    Blaze era help?

The simple answer here is the singer. The quality of the songs doesn't matter if the chap singing them isn't up to the job. That's why TXF will always be in my (and many others) bottom two Maiden albums. I'd LOVE to hear Bruce rip out The Aftermath and The Edge of Darkness etc.

    Blaze era help?

Blaze is not my bag at all, never wanted him in the band and was delighted to see the back of him but if you want to know whether or not they're worth buying, just look up the songs on youtube, give them a listen and make your own mind up.

The Beaver. Movie like this hinges on the performance of its lead actor. Fortunately Mel Gibson is more than up to the challenge and I have to assume the lukewarm reception from the critics is down to his off screen activity. Nice job by Jodi Foster behind the camera too. 4/5.

    Final Frontier: one year later

Isle of Avalon is, for me, the best song Maiden have recorded in over 20 years. Smith is a fucking God on this album and Maiden are just not the same without him. There's no skip songs for me but some of the lyrics in The Man Who Would Be King are questionable. I love the album over all but...
