    Dance of Death DVD Audio

Sorry a bit offtopic but the most Maiden moment of all time is during Dance of Death in Dortmund 2003 when Adrian´s solo transitions into Davey`s and at that precise moment Steve leaves his monitors, takes a few jumps towards drum kit, while Davey using his tremolo in the background, Steve peeks...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

Yes, and nod to the previous comment as well from btx109, I´ve said for a while: they will take Maiden to the 2030s be it with or without Neeko. Especially with the 50th anniversary tour announcement in September but even before that I was 80-85% certain. I just can´t see a problem touring for...

The better 1990s album with Bruce: FOTD vs NPFTD

Top-5 from both and that would make a solid top-5 Maiden album. Make it top-5 overall from both and throw in top-5 from Blaze albums (in other words top-10 from the 90s) and you get top-3 Maiden album. Hopefully there are not too many tops to confuse. Wish they wouldn´t have omitted that decade...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

First couple of comments that pop into vision: "Disappointed, they should have played Run To The Hills & The Number of the Beast". You´ve had the last 42 years to hear those two mate!

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

As I said couple of weeks ago, my money is on Sanctuary. Energetic start to the show and after a couple of verses when it slows down, Brucey can do a bit of "You ready?! You ready?!! So give me Sanctuary from the law...". And at the ending before the "climax" crowd jumping etc. Aces High is...

Run For Your Lives tour their last or not?

    Nope. Retirement between 2030-35.

Run For Your Lives! Setlist speculation thread

One might consider the possibility of opening with Sanctuary. Not very epic but good and energetic start to the gig. More likely opener than Phantom or RTTH, can't see Rue Morgue, Be Quick or Tailgunner in the set and Moonchild already opened for three legs last decade.

Run For Your Lives Tour: Which Songs from No Prayer for the Dying and Fear of the Dark Are in the Setlist?

They didn´t play Tailgunner in 93 though so if you have witnessed it it was in 92 then. If there are 3 songs, I´m gonna go with the 3 obvious ones, being FOTD, Bring Your Daughter & Afraid. They´re not gonna drop the first and the latter two have been featured in the reunion era.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

3 positives: 1. Maiden will continue existing in 2027 and beyond, never doubted personally but its still a relief to get an official statement and put that 10-20% possibility of retirement out of mind 2. No Prayer For The Dying will get representation again, come on! Even though its probably...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

Amusing message next to your profile pic - a melancholic guy accepting his fate. Well, at least you´re not the First Maiden Gig Starter Pack -individual - go berserk only during FOTD and Trooper.

    The Future Past Tour 2024

Well, maybe. At least Wasted Years has been crossing the toe over the overplayed territory line in recent years. No need to play that one after this tour I´d say. HCW was overplayed from its release until 2003, then it has been benched for quite some time and long enough to be actually quite...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

Listened 6 songs and Nicky already sounded better than any of last year I´ve heard. Certainly promising for the future. They speeded up the tempo a notch as well.

    Oasis

And incidentally, on his 50th as well. But yeah, prices getting out of control. Maiden is the only band I could pay, say, 150-200 euros and even that would have to include setlist swarming of rarities.

    The Future Past Tour 2024

In Chief Clancy Wiggum´s voice: "No setlist changes, just as I suspected" Should be full gig on YouTube in 12 hours, if not, checking about third of a gig worth of individual songs to see how the boys did.

    The Future Past Tour 2024

You know its the first gig of the tour when it takes 3 minutes to turn the page  or at least I presume so as it it my first time here when a new leg kicks off.

    Bruce Dickinson

I see his bedtime habits have not changed much since the late 80s / early 90s. I recall reading an interview from that era when he was asked out of curiosity when he usually wakes up because he doesn´t seem like a typical rock n roll bloke who rolls out of sofa at 4 in the afternoon and sniffs...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

Possibly. His leg may have tendency to break easier if it has weakened multiple times. I don´t know if its right or left leg but he definitely hurt one during towards the tail end of Fear of the Dark tour. There is footage of him in bandages.

Pick the three best performed songs from Beast Over Hammersmith

Wrathchild - Tight and ferocious, nice little extra melodies here and there. By the time of the scream in the middle I bet those who saw Bruce live for the first time and had doubts or concerns beforehand were won over Total Eclipse - Bruce attacking the lyrics with menace and delivers raw...

    Iron Maiden pictures

World Slavery Tour 1984/85 kicked off exactly 40 years ago in Warsaw (Churchill´s Speech at around 8.30pm local time, as we learn from Behind The Iron Curtain -documentary).
