Both obviously wanted him to stay. Also, to add salt to the wounds of haters, Janick offered to step down but Adrian refused to return if he did. Let that sink in posers. In all honesty, it would have been a massive d*ck move to say "Yeah thanks for carrying the band for the last nine years but...
Okay I´m just gonna say it what many are thinking...
...would it have killed them to play one effing song for one tour from NPFTD for the first time in 22 years?? I´m probably never gonna get over it!
I try something different: improving both Somewhere On Tour and 7th Tour of A 7th Tour by one simple change: swapping places of Children of the Damned and The Prisoner. They both would fit thematically better after switch in my view.
Just gonna post alternative chorus for BNW cos why not:
A Brave New World
Future No More
A Brave New World
Doomsday At Dawn
In A brave New World
No Hope At All
In A Brave New World
Death At Your Door
Never doubted it, as I have constantly mentioned to the point of annoyance I just can´t see why they couldn´t do like 20-25 gigs per year with younger and healthier drummer. But I guess, as retirement speculation have been frequently around since 1988, it has become sort of part of the...
Future Past was better, I think the 07 tour was quite weak setlist wise and certainly step back from the 06 leg. Needed either more material from the then new album and / or rarer songs in place of Evil, 2 Minutes, Wrathchild, Trooper, The Number of the Beast etc.
This scenario seems more and more likely. And it doesn´t take much of their time, they have written most of their albums (I would say 13/17) in about 6 weeks and then record it for a couple of months. I still definitely think they have one last album left in them.
As for performing live, I...
Even though I don`t like leaving traces of internet use on the days that end in nine, I just might make an exception now. For today it has been exactly 35 years since Bruce´s first ever solo gig in Mayfair Ballroom, Newcastle upon Tyne, 19th June 1990...
Maiden fans are promised an adequate set list, spanning the seven studio albums from ‘Iron Maiden’ to ‘Seventh Son of a Seventh Son’, with one painful exception and a reasonably spectacular and elaborate show !
Well. At least we now know better to wish anything from NPFTD or FOTD (not counting...
I scored at lea
Scored at least the required ten, so you have to endure me from now on as per usual and what is more, my hiatus is over, yay. No songs from No Prayer, gutted & disgrace. You had one job laddies.
Probably over precaution but as I don´t want even slightest risk of setlist spoilers, probably wise to back off from this website until the summer. Therefore, ?th and final summary of the setlist as I firmly believe it will be:
-16 or 17 songs in total
-5 songs from the first two albums...
I don´t necessarily dislike any of these, but Children of the Damned, Wasted Years, 7th Son & Writing on the Wall after pausing for a while to think. These are quite overrated. Probably poor example but its like they are praised as Pele or Maradona but they are in the 2nd tier Austria level...
I don't want to sound arrogant, but chees. Of course there is gonna be a new album (explains to an eight year old that 1+1 = 2). It never ceases to amaze me how inexpert this forum is for supposedly being diehard fans.
Iron Maiden goes autistic ; the 7th Son album in that style:
1. Manchild
2. Infinite Spectrum
3. Can I Play With Syndrome?
4. The Autistic Things That Men Do
5. Seventh Autistic Son of a Seventh Autistic Son
6. The Prophecy (About Acting Weird & Its Symptoms)
7. The Besserwisser Clairvoyant
8...
Harris said before the first gig of Ed Hunter tour that Sign of the Cross got most votes but for some reason they postponed playing it live until the Brave New World tour. Also Bruce said before the last gig of Ed Hunter Tour that they can´t play all the epics at one go, so if its between...
