7th Son ranks on the lower spectrum of my album rankings, but not due to any repetition. To be honest, I didn't know so many fans had such gripes with repetition in Maiden til I came to this forum.

On the topic of 7th Son, I find The Clairvoyant overrated. The last 3 songs are what bring this album down for me.

I thought Bruce and Steve have said Piece of Mind was their favorite? Or something about it being their highest quality album..

Dare I say that I'd rather listen to Virtual XI than 7th Son at almost any given time..?

Virtual is my favorite 90's album. Also, I think AMOLAD is slightly overrated on this forum.

For anyone else here, is this the first new release from the band while already being a huge fan of the band? It is for me, so maybe that's helped my instant love for Speed of Light. The Final Frontier was my first metal album, but I started listening to the songs after it was released.

Only seen em once, Maiden England 2012 in Denver.

It seems to me that before the official release this morning, there was more praise being thrown around for the song ..and now it seems there's a higher percentage of detractors.

I think 7 listens is enough...for now at least. Now I need sleep. Absolutely killer song and video.
