Has anyone mentioned that when the "mistake" from the teaser occurs in SoL, it's at the exact second Eddie lands on the ground in the last level? Seems intentional on the video's part.
I actually find this chorus to be one of my favorites on the album, along with The Pilgrim and Different World. Also, some of the riffs in this song reminds me of those later found in Starblind.
I find The Prophecy probably to be my most forgettable song from the first 5 Bruce albums. Clairvoyant isn't bad but it seems a bit bland to me. Only the Good Die Young is better than both of those 2, but still an underwhelming way to close the album.
Am I the only one who is completely underwhelmed by the last 3 songs on 7th Son? That's why I rate this album so low in Maiden's history. To me the album feels like a perfect 5 song EP with 3 bonus tracks that are just good, not great.
I find it interesting that some reviews claim Book of Souls as the best since 7th Son, when I'll take all 4 reunion albums in a heartbeat over 7th Son. And possibly Virtual XI too.
I might get it from my record store on the 1st, and if so, I'll immediately pop it in my computer and listen to it all. Then I'll put it on my phone to listen on the go.
Not quite sure if this would be considered off topic and I apologize if so, but could make for some discussion..Metal Hammer put up a list of 10 underrated songs written by Dave.
