Because they did not sound as I expected after AMOLAD. I refuse to think that TFF is reflective of the new Maiden era. I'd like to think that they was very busy (and maybe lazy) to put together better their ideas, which, I repeat, are beautiful.

Not by me, I will never compare Age of innocence with any of them, just Flash of the blade is able to wipe out the entire DoD album, or most of it. Agree on DoD, Paschendale and Brighter than a thousand suns (their best song since 1988). Completely disagree, I found no stinkers on Killers...

Five years later: I still do not like it. IMO, one of their worst work. It's a shame because I love many of the ideas but they are puttet together very badly.

Actually this is my problem with DoD, execpt for Paschendale and the titletrack all the others seems to me very approximate and rough. On the contrary, BNW appears pretty solid to me.

Idk, I think that the eventual artwork and format will be announced soon. For every album they released at least one CD single so I do not see why they will not do it also this time.

I Totally agree. PoM is his vocal studio masterpiece. Live: as someone said Beast over Hammersmith (22 Acacia Avenue is incredibile), Rock in Rio and all the Somewhere back in Time tour.
