Hard to make out the difference honestly.

This I cannot deny if I want to about Maiden sounding unique. Sometimes they just sound like a rock band & not metal. Their sound is definitely unique. Sometimes find it hard to compare them to other metal bands. They’re just in a league of their own.

Well I will say the album doesn’t sound like anything from the past. Well maybe Mistress of Mercy has a few vibes from past songs (don’t wanna spoil it). But otherwise it’s a very different album. Only for people open to change & not traditional metal.

Just heard Rain on the Graves sung by the choir at pre-listening party. Sounds like shit. That song has now been doomed for me.

Agreed!! It was nice and melodic & then this shit happened. The only downside to this track

So I will say that this album has had a quite similar impact on me as Senjutsu. Every morning with one of the tracks from the album ringing in my head. Yep the album is now in my head & won’t leave.

Emotion? Sonata fucking teared me up almost.

This albums way too fast paced. Feels as short as Maidens debut album

Resurrection men had the potential to be a better song. Nice start, amazing mid-section but the end felt unfinished.

Watched this and good to see he hasn’t name-fucked any song on Bruce’s album :D Besides found his review rather superficial. It feels like a half-assed review

The Mandrake Project certainly requires an acquired taste. It’s different from TCW, AOB & TOS & is an animal of its own.

Either way Bruce gets richer by a few pounds :D
