As long as Steve is there I'd Think of it as Iron Maiden. He's the soul of the band. Speaking of line up-Changes....once Bruce can't do it anymore, how about Jorn Lande? Pretty 'kin excellent, I Think he'd be awesome for Maiden.

Wouldn't mind if they let all the standard classics rest for this tour, and went for 5-6 new songs along with hidden gems from the 80's and 90's. Something like... If Eternity Should Fail Speed Of Light The Book Of Souls When The River Runs Deep Death Or Glory Tears Of A Clown Wasting...

Strange decision, not only is it a great song, but also one I can imagine working very well live...

Agreed, Montsegur is rather weak.

Did they play Run Silent, Run Deep on that tour? One of their best 90's songs in my book.

Let's not forget the single covers for Can I Play With Madness and The Clairvoyant....those were pretty nasty as well :P

Good album, but not perfect. I listened to Seventh Son after this, and that one is clearly still their best. Probably always will be. If a five year recording break couldn't produce an album equal to Seventh Son, I don't know what it takes? But I do enjoy Book Of Souls, and I appreciate...

I have also previously on numerous occassions pointed out that I do like some new Maiden. Probably much of it, even. But that is obviously not good enough. I suppose you have to think AMOLAD is a godsend, or you're living in the past!

It works both ways, man. Some think that people who prefer the old stuff are exactly that.

They have plenty of good stuff IMO. Pretty much every album from Tales From The Twilight world and onwards...
