I'm going to amend my comment above... Been listening to alot of X Factor the past few days and Blaze's voice is actually beginning to grow on me a bit. Been giving the album multiple full through listens, with headphones, and enjoying it.
I think AMOLAD is easily their best album since 7th Son, and I'd rank it in my top 5 Maiden albums of all time (maybe in the top 3). Amazing album. They need to throw a couple of tunes in the next setlist, namely Greater Good of God.
SO tough....Not in order:
Infinite Dreams
Moonchild
For the Greater Good of God
Revelations
Drifter
Where Eagles Dare
Rime
Sea of Madness
Starblind
Remember Tomorrow
Agreed...while TFF has some amazing tunes, Starblind and Isle of Avalon in particular, the album as a whole hasnt held up much for me, esp Coming Home. Id rank both AMOLAD and Brave New World ahead of it for the Bruce reunion albums.
Hands down the best album for me since 7th Son. And definitely in the top 5 Maiden albums of all time as well (along with Piece, Killers, Beast and 7th). Brilliant top to bottom.
Would love to see a new album. However, while im a huge prog rock/metal fan, it would be great to see some shorter/moderate length songs mixed in alongside a longer epic. Characteristic of POM thru 7th Son era.
I didnt say they NEVER played it live, I meant they never play it live (these days). Last time it was in rotation I believe was the Early Days tour....
Respect your opinion re: WED, but its prob in my all time top 5 maiden tunes, and Id pick hearing that over those never played...
As for...
