Well played. Would rather watch that several times over than see Maiden play Parchment live.

I’m only just joining in, I’ll be at the current first show in Perth. And I have to say, as excited as I’d be to see Icarus for Madness, if I saw Parchment i stead of Celts, I’d be going for a bathroom AND drink break. Setlist as is is exactly what I want.

Seen theorising that because Alexander the Great is finally in the setlist that this is the last one. And I honestly think that’s the biggest kid I’ve ever heard. If this was it, there’s no way that they’d have dropped Hallowed and Beast, not to mention that Hills would probably be there too...

Man, I need to save up and get myself to the US next year for multiple shows. There’s no way I can wait til 2025 to hope for a chance of an Australian/New Zealand/Asian leg. We did that with Legacy and there was a global pandemic that they said “we’ll see you as soon as it’s possible” and then...

That would have to be the first time they’ve put the logo on a backdrop, right?

Wasted Years. Holy hell. What a setlist.

Show is definitely closing with Wasted Years, leaving us with Fear, Maiden and Trooper as the only three perma-staples in a fifteen song show. Never thought I’d see the day.

So, Trooper in the encore. Cool. When’s the last time it made it that far up?

I can’t believe it. We’re actually getting almost a staple-less show. They needed to slow the bridge down a bit, Bruce barely kept up there.

Might be my favourite backdrop of the tour, just quietly.

Are we going to have social media anger saying “they didn’t do the songs they haven’t dropped since 1999, oh woe is me and therefore the tour sucks”?

Well, that’s pretty much main set done for. Maybe a four song encore?

Are we getting a third walk on? We had the five second crossover during SIASL, the gunfight during HCW and now Samurai during IM? Plus the inflatable. That’s awesome!
