    Nicko McBrain retires

I have tickets for Manchester and will certainly go and enjoy it, but some of the magic will of gone for me I suspect! That said I am sure the replacement will be technically very good.

No mention of Jason Bonham? He seems to be first in line for every replacement job around!

    Bruce Dickinson

He said last year they wanted to tour America, so I suspect it will be this tour. Probably want to go to South America to tour TMP as well before releasing anything new.

    Thunderstick?

    Nicko McBrain retires

I think they will probably go for a British guy, as Steve thought that was important when Blaze came in, but beyond that who knows.

    Nicko McBrain retires

A great shame but age catches up with us all. Maiden being hyper professional will choose a good replacement. Maybe Simon Dawson as Steve has played and recorded with him in Lion? I am sure there are other technical drummers who could do the job.

    Adrian Smith

Unusually for me I prefer the slower tracks on the first album. I wanna stay and You don't know me. Very different from Maiden! In respect of touring I don't really know the economics involved, although interviews I have seen suggest it is the only way bands (some at least) make money these...

    Adrian Smith

It is four years since the first album. How long would they take to write 10 songs? Kotzen is an incredibly prolific writer anyway, Adrian used to be back in the day for Maiden.

    Bruce Dickinson

I presume he does realise it is Maiden on tour at the mo and not Bruce solo?

    Adrian Smith

Definite 70s vibe. I would say more Budgie/UFO.

I like it, maybe a bit heavier than the first album.

I got the signed EP at the gig and the other two on CD!

Glad we are getting some more tunes from Adrian. I saw them live on the tour, well worth a watch if they go out on the road again. Kotzen is a terrific vocalist.

RIP. Glad I managed to see him perform last year, was still in good voice. Have always loved the first two albums.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I hope they play both Aces and Mariner off Powerslave. TMTM I can live without.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Well I am not going to read through 10 pages about Star Wars on an Iron Maiden tour thread? Got my tickets though and can't wait till next June........

Run For Your Lives tour their last or not?

This is such an emotive topic, and everyone doubtless will have different opinions on it. At the end of the day, Steve owns the brand and founded the band. That said, the current lineup has been around for such a long time that I hope we don't get into the situation that only a couple of...
