Rain was from 2012 based on Bruce’s field trip to William Wordsworths grave.
Sonata from 1998 (second verse was recorded more recently)
Shadows from 2005 probably
Afterglow & Doors to hell from 2023
Eternity from 2014
Resurrection Men is from 2008 (could be wrong here)
Face in the Mirror could...
I think I’d like to see a more comprehensive interview from Roy on this album. I feel he’s probably holding back thoughts since Bruce is at the helm of everything. I could be wrong but wanna hear what he has to say.
Eternity has failed has begun growing on me but the production on that track is just bad. The solo sounds way too screechy and the overall guitar sounds way too raw.
So I’d say that songs that have good production on the album would be:
Rain on the Graves
Mistress of Mercy
Face in the Mirror...
Well Janick I wouldn’t be too sure of. I mean his stage presence at this age is still so electrifying like legit now words. I think id go with Nicko & Dave. Whatever said n done, we need another Maiden album before anyone calls it quits. Just 1 more for the road.
3 years of Covid? Why does he keep harping on this every now and then. It was for almost a year and a half (give or take 4-5 months). Covid hit us in 2020 and he recorded 2 songs in 2023. He toured with Maiden in 2022 & 2023. I’m pretty sure it’s not 3 years
Out of the weeds & into the mind: The Mandrake Project Review
Disclaimer: Its the first time I've ever written such a long review so it might feel a bit rushed. But if time permits will work on honing my writing skills.
I’ve been on to The Mandrake Project since last week like white on rice...
The final chorus brings about that feeling of joy and like everything in life’s going well for a change. Plus for some reason reminds me of TMNT kicking ass
So I will say that the Spotify version sounds a bit cleaner & more refined than the leaks. There is a small difference.
My CD has been dispatched from Bruces store. So Bruce can’t give me shit now for leaks :D
Now that the album is out (officially), I shall post my long m, comprehensive review...
