Slow intro part of Man of Sorrows is very good, emotional, but the rest of the song is weak. WTRRD is very catchy, I was sure they were gonna play it live. Instead, they put TGU, which I also like, but it has something missing, like Face in the Sand. It seems a bit undefined.

Agree on Blood Brothers and Wasted Years. And Maiden melodies actually got me into Maiden music as well. But, we disagree on some other things... And no glam metal, for God's sake :-)

Well, I don't. I agree it's melodic and has great solos. It's just that it's too radio friendly for my taste, and the lyrics are a bit of WY theme recycled. WY is also a little bit commercial, but it's theme fits great into SIT loose concept of time passing by... Again, it's my opinion, respect...

Don't know if these can be marked as blasphemy, but... Negative: I absolutely don't like song Iron Maiden Positive: I like X Factor so much that it's maybe among my Top 5. Definitely better than all the albums from the 90's, along with some post 2000's (DoD, TFF, BoS) and first album.

Not denying his songwriting for Dream of Mirrors, Ghost of the Navigator, Silent Planet, DoD, Pilgrim, Legacy, Talisman, but most of them are epics with acoustic intros, exept those where Janick wrote music with Steve. On the other hand, there are songs like Shadow of the Valley, Gates of Tommorow.

I am really looking forward for No 17, but on the other hand, I have a slight amount of fear. Because... After BNW all of the composing is divided between Steve, H and Bruce, with no real help form Dave and Janick. So, I'm sure that Dave would write another pointless song with slow guitar/bass...

Definitely- Judgment of Heaven. My favourite song from Blaze era, very catchy and with great melodies. But, it wasn't played live back in the day, so this is never gonna happen.

I think that (songs I don't like at all are not included): Longest Day really lacks some continuation to "How long..." Minstrel part of Montsegur ruins the dark feeling of medieval song. No more lies (I hope no explanation is nedded). Journeyman would have been better with a little bit more...
