I've been wondering about this for a while: I have the impression that the band's live output changed dramatically from The Book of Souls World Tour onwards. Flight 666 and En Vivo are the pinnacles of their live production. Suddenly, the band sounds totally different since The Book of Souls -...
I think "Parchment" has a great transition in the build up to the "meet me there" part, which would be nice to hear live. I've always envisioned this part with pyros/fireworks like in ROTAM after the breakdown. However, all the remaining parts aren't melodic and the song lacks enthusiasm overall.
I would love to hear Dance of Death again, especially because I've never seen it live. It's one of their best live songs ever. But given that they already have two very solid live versions of it (DOTR and En Vivo), I doubt its return to the setlist.
I think they should play The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner and at some point, a giant Eliud Kipchoge comes onto the stage and starts dancing with Jancik Gers.

Honestly, they play FOTD, Trooper and TNOTB to please the fans that don't listen to their reunion-era songs. For this purpose, SIASL, ATG and WY perfectly replace those. So there's a chance we finally see them playing only Iron Maiden + one overplayed classic.
Do you think LOTB will have another release apart from Nights of the Dead? I think this tour deserves something way better. I like the Flight 666 and TBOS-LC formats, with audio and footage from different cities. If they do so, I hope they join all the legs and don't let any song behind like...
The transition to the cathedral during the LOTB 19 was faster, and they could hide it very well with the lights turned off. This time, at RiR it felt almost embarrassing because they didn't have control over the lights of the whole festival, so you could literally see each staff member doing...
I've been to both RiR, and São Paulo shows. For the first time, I attended twice in the same tour, which is not that easy in a country like Brazil, where trips are long. Rock in Rio is worth the experience, but it is exhausting and even approximating the stage two hours before the show, the...
To be honest, I think most opener choices have similar audience reception in Europe: only the first rows interact without much enthusiasm. It's common to see people standing with their arms crossed even in Aces High. I would rather wait until South America to judge Senjutsu as an opener.
I don't get why POTO has been out of the set for this long. It is easy for Bruce and the band, one of their best classics, great audience interaction. Download 2013 version is one of their most praised video records on Youtube.
