    Death Metal

I think Deicide is my favorite Death metal band. Suffocation a close second. ALso Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, and Obituary. That'd be my top 5.

Judas Priest: songs that were never played live

Always good to see a Priest thread like this. I've thought about this before, but never really bothered to do the research on it. I just remember from the bootlegs I have. I didn't know they ever played Take these chains. Or Burnin' up for that matter.

    Slayer

I've loved this band for most of my life. They're music just never gets old to me. I think they've been pretty consistent with their albums too. Took me a couple of listens to warm up to christ illusion and world painted blood, but I really like those albums. ANd yeah I know diabolus album...

    Anthrax

Maybe I really need to give volbeat a good listen, but the few songs I heard, I just didn't care for. I'll be skipping this tour.

Great Napalm Death show last week for all you death metal fans. They played an amazing set. Voivod also kicked ass. Exhumed had to cut a song due to time unfortunately. It was snowing out and they had to end it slightly early. Lots of stuff popping up lately. Got my Def...

Nice enjoy! I caught them last year. I believe it was the Amon Amarth show they were on. I could be wrong.

Which live album best represents Iron Maiden

I was extremely impressed the way Bruce did Lord of the Flies. I"m not so much speaking to the death on the road album, but I caught 2 shows on the dance of death tour and that one definitely stood out for me because I hadn't heard that one live before.

Thanks for the heads up. Definitely consider that one. I missed them last time around.

Yeah Zebra shows are very limited. They always do New York twice a year which is where I live. And maybe one or two other random shows in another state but that's about it. I felt they should've been huge. They usually fill up the theater they play at with all the long island, NY fans that...

Yeah I never get tired of seeing Zebra. They put on such a great show. They only do about a handful of shows each year so I'm fortunate enough to catch one or 2 of them. Sorry you missed the Watain show. For me it was kind of a last minute thing. I was a little low on money, but said screw...

Any Zebra fans? Going to see them in April. Next month the fit is gonna hit the shan with all the spring tour dates. The Watain/Mayhem show was great last week for all you black metal fans out there. Definitely worth it.

Which live album best represents Iron Maiden

Completely agree with you there. LAD was a time where they were basically taking over the world and that tour was huge. It put them to a whole other level. I also agree that there should've been a live album for the Ed hunter tour. They really came back with a bang. I completely respect the...

Really? I came so close to seeing them in '89 opening for Testament. My friend made me late and there was a line going for 2 blocks so I couldn't get in till testament was on. I hate him forever because of that :D. That would've been the best tour to catch them on too.

Nice list. I decided to skip Machinehead but I hope to catch them next time around. I'm thinking about checking out Hell Yeah though. Saw them once at Gigantour and I liked them

Which live album best represents Iron Maiden

I gotta go with Live after death. I remember when that came out, that got so many more people into Maiden and so many fans bought that album before they had any of the studio albums. The sound is just incredible and really captures that magic of those earlier albums. If I tried to pick a...

    Scorpions

I love this band! I'm with you guys on Blackout. I think that album is great. I enjoyed Sting in the tail though. I caught a few shows on the 2010 tour and thank god I did. The shows were incredible. I hope they're back in the states next year. I haven't really checked their status or...

    Returning to old venues

I may be in the minority, but I'm not a fan of them playing the small unseated venues. I went to 2 shows on the Dance of Death tour at one of the smaller theaters like they used to play and hated that. Everybody packed in so close like sardines so you can't see anything. Mosh pits breaking...
