I'm just happy my favorite band is still touring in 2025. Really looking forward to what they unveil tonight!

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Anyone planning on posting each of the song artworks Maiden throws out on socials here (assuming they are doing so) as they get posted? I'm completely off those and don't want to get sucked in just to save the setlist images as they happen. Super excited about today, I'm confident this show...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I've seen Maiden 31 times since my first show in 1996. I've been lucky enough to see them on every North American tour except for Dance of Death (that one only went to two cities) and Early Days (because I was not going to support the fucking Osbournes to see Maiden play for barely an hour)...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Other than it being different for them, I don't think Maiden playing with an orchestra would work at all. I certainly don't want what limited time we have left with them to be spent doing something that off of the wall. I can't recall an orchestra accompanying a metal band really working out...

TREASURE ISLAND - New Maiden Album (June 6)

    This thread is incredible. :applause:

    Bruce Dickinson

This is probably a dumb question, but is the speculation that Bruce on any forthcoming material would also write with his solo band? Like if Roy Z is truly not involved anymore, he'll need someone to assist with musical ideas. Do we know the songwriting prowress of the folks in his band?

Seems to be most of, if not everything, that Nemesis Now sells. They do cool things, wish they were a bit cheaper though!

IRON MAIDEN: 'Infinite Dreams - The Official Visual History' Book Due In The Fall

We have Ross Halfin's Maiden book and the Fligh 666 book, both official. Aside from official pics from where the Flight 666 book left off, I'm wondering what will be uniquely different about this one the others didn't already cover?

I ended up getting GA tickets for Silver Spring. I wanted to get actual seats but fuck right off with these being $189 or $240 each. I'm old but I can stand if it means saving like $400 on two tickets.

    Ghost

Honestly, the best part about this is that the album comes out less than 90 days from this announcement. No releasing the initial details and then a 3+ month wait for the whole thing while 2-3 more singles drop so you've heard half the record before it's out. I wish more bands would (and could...

Maiden songs everybody seems to like but you dislike?

I've never liked Blood Brothers. Not in 2000, not in 2010 not now. I can respect the sentiment behind the lyrics and it does feature probably my all-time favorite Janick solo but that's about all the positives for me. Overall I find it to be an overlong and overly repetitive song with...

Put your initial thought after your first listen to the Senjutsu album to one sentence please.

Great album. I particularly appreciate how they actually seemingly took a bit more care with the vocal production. The addition of reverb and some different vocal coloring was sorely lacking on The Final Frontier in particular. Makes this record feel more produced than the last few. I can't...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

I saw two unbelievable shows this tour - Newark and Baltimore. These were Maiden shows #30 and 31 for me since 1996 and honestly, they may have been my favorites of the entire lot. I've known they were playing Caught Somewhere in Time, Stranger in a Strange Land and Alexander the Great now for...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Not a big fan of the tour artwork, especially when compared to the Future Past (2023 and 2024) ones which I thought were outstanding. But I'm glad folks will have a chance to see Maiden again on a new tour again next year. I'm sure the 2026 portion of the tour will consist of North America...

    Judas Priest

I've been spinning a lot of Priest since the release of Invincible Shield. It's still a bit too early for me to properly rank it among their back catalog, but I find it a really strong album. I've been on such a Priest kick that I splurged for aftermarket tickets to see them next month here in...

    Bruce Dickinson

Put on The Mandrake Project this morning for the first time in awhile (the outstanding new Priest album that came out the week after this has dominated my time since) and I still like it. I don't love it but I do like it. Shadow of the Gods is still far and away my favorite tune. I kind of...

    Judas Priest

It's weird, I do like this album but I realized that it feels very surface level. Like after 4-5 listens I feel like I know it as well as I'm going to and there's not much to uncover or discover beyond that. Contrast with the Bruce album or Maiden in general where I'm still finding cool...

    Judas Priest

After 2 listens I'm kinda whelmed by the new Priest. The first 3 songs are bangers and then it gets really samey for most of the rest of it. I need time to gel with this a bit more. I am still drawn to the singles and am so familiar with those the other tracks kind of get lost. That's more...
