A setlist full of Maiden's 80s hits/classics could very well be defined as being "setlist for the ages". Overplayed for some, the first time hearing them live for many, especially in stadiums.

Glenn Tipton is still a member of Judas Priest, but I don't think he plays that much guitar on the albums. Likewise David Paich is still a member of Toto, but doesn't really do much at all.

I would be very pleased with all hits setlist.

Hoping for props. They are one the main things that separate Maiden from most of their peers live. Also, personally I find pretty much all digital graphics pretty off-putting in movies, concerts or elsewhere.

This is my thinking as well. The tour spans to Fear of the Dark just to cover its title track. Otherwise the tour would be spanning from Iron Maiden to Seventh Son of the Seventh Son.

It's an anniversary tour played on (mostly) stadiums. They will play pretty much all the classics and I, for one, am looking forward for it.

No, no, no. Keep the hair at least for the Run for Your Lives tour and if the band calls it quits after that, then do whatever. Baldness/shaved heads have no place in rock'n'roll.

The problem is not the tempo itself, but the fact that it drifts within the songs too much and some fills feel like they bring the songs to screeching halt for a second.

I think the dude's voice kinda worked when the music was more Blue Öyster Cult/Sisters of Mercy influenced on the first albums. Kinda like priest singing in mass. But it does not work with their current 80s throwback style. Not nearly enough power or any kind of dynamics or variation. Also...

I have hard time believing that this would be a three year tour. It's kind of a niche set after all. Personally I would love to get a greatest hits tour next. There's lots of newer fans who have not been able to hear the classics live and I do get a kick out of them myself, even after all these...
