RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Point, you're obviously right with many aspects, but it's the 50th Anniversary, a proper opportunity to make things absolutely spectacular (as they promised in the press kit).

No way Maiden will play stadium in the US, maybe one show like in 2019. Economical situation in the country is too risky.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

If you wanna go successful you must even take a risk and initially invest a little to go on. The documentary screening should be a prime occasion to attract more new fans, but I'm afraid the management will waste the big chance. So, time will tell.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

As usual their management is announcing big things but finally hhey don't wanna invest too much money and the final effect is not so impressive than should be.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

The thing I'm afraid most is promotion of documentary. After something like that more and more new fans should be attracted to the band's legions. I'm afraid Maiden’s management will put the Enterprise Down due to "expensive marketing etc, etc".

I think the production was just OK, more interesting will be S. Dawson's drumming and the general condition of the band. The forthcoming tour is almost sold out, the attendance results should be even better than a few years ago, but the new drummer and production are the enigma.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

REMINDER: this topic is about the forthcoming Iron Maiden tour 2025, not the popularity of Metallica!

Sorry, but do you think about IM in the last sentence?

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

I think about a dozen dates in July/August 2026, before South America in September and North American leg in the Autumn, Asia and Oceania are next in December, probably they play some festivals (for example: The Good Things Festival in Australia). Bruce said there'll be an extensive IM tour in...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Maybe they play some dates in Europe too. There are some territories they didn't schedule for 2025: Balkans, Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, and cities they don't play in 2025, who knows.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Iron Maiden's catching up quickly in Latin America and on some European markets (not many of them at all), but look at the States, here they struggle to sell 15K+ arenas. Completely different situation. By the Way, I'm wondering where they will play next year. There are no options for stadiums...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Exactly, and they are media-friendly and attractive for casual listeners, something opposite to Maiden which plays just for declared fans of their peculiar style.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

'Cos they are more mainstream in terms of promotion and radio hits.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Dual nights with 90% of the same people in the crowd for each of them - I saw Metallica twice and noticed that. In fact, Sweden Rock could draw even 50k for particular nights.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

Must say Metallica is well-received among casual listeners, not just metaheads or so, Maiden has always played for declared fans. Maybe after documentary, something will change for them - but honestly, I doubt.

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

For example: Grammy Awards in the States, Lifetime Achievement Awards, the bridges, locals, and places named after the bands, RnRHoF inductions - just a few among many others. I know the awards are relative nowadays, but all those accolades show how much the artist's music is respected by...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

'Cos they have a lot of declared fans and they're attractive to older metalheads who need a sentimental journey (including myself). Just realize how many prestigious accolades Sabbath or Metallica have received and compare that with Maiden. Even know when they are 50, many artists with so long...

RUN FOR YOUR LIVES WORLD TOUR (2025/2026)

It's so easy to find many rock bands with a way bigger production and mid-sized line-ups, which are just behind Maiden in terms of production. Stage gear and props aren't that bad from Rod's perspective - the worst thing is the marketing strategy. He constantly promoted Iron Maiden with merch...
