Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

BTW here's mine (12 songs that haven't been played at least for 20 years and 5 more classics): Be Quick Or Be Dead (last played 1993) Purgatory (last played 1981) Infinite Dreams (last played 1988) Fortunes Of War (last played 1996) Futureal (last played 1999) Loneliness Of The Long Distance...

Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

In the sequence of a thread about what sixth Blaze records track we'd like to see Bruce sing live live I came out with an era setlist: The Virtual Factor Tour: Man On The Edge Lord Of The Flies Wrathchild Fortunes Of War The Trooper The Educated Fool Judgement Of Heaven Futureal The Edge Of...

A bit unrealistic but overall thumbs up.

If Maiden played a sixth Blaze era song live with Bruce?

As far as I'm concerned I would go even further: a dedicated tour to that era with 7 tracks from The X Factor (the first 4, Judgement Of Heaven, Blood On The World's Hands and The Edge Of Darkness) alongside Judgement Day plus 3 tunes from Virtual XI (Futureal, The Clansman and The Educated...

    Senjutsu - 20 Months Later

Despite still liking the album a lot almost 2 years after I listened to it the first time I think I'm not as fond of it as I was in 2021. In all honesty it features some traits similar to their recent albums that I truly dislike and these work like a rock in my shoe: at first it's a small itch...

Rate all the songs on SSOASS

Love the damn thing. But yeah... when played live the chorus gets a bit messy . Perhaps if Harris didn't "help" on the backing vocals it would sound a bit better.

Rate all the songs on SSOASS

Here's how it goes in my book: Absolutely amazing songs: Moonchild, Infinite Dreams, Can I Play With Madness, The Prophecy. Slightly less - yet still - amazing songs: everything else. SSOASS is one of my favorite Maiden albums and alongside Powerslave and Somewhere In Time makes a trio of...

    Favourite (non-Maiden) albums by bandmembers

Lol, true. Love the damn album so much that I didn't even read the original post. Some albums were expected some others not so much. I'm pretty much surprised that Blackie's #1 isn't something by The Who.

Which songs never worked live as good as in the original studio version?

There: I fixed it for you. :D

Which b-sides show would you like to see officially released?

There's some really awesome stuff here. But shows from 1983, 1990, 1999, 2005 or 2006 would be brutal!

If Maiden played a sixth Blaze era song live with Bruce?

Fortunes Of War without shadow of doubt. Always loved the damn thing and think it would sound even better with some of Dickinson's tweaks and overall more varied vocal style.

    Easily Chemical Wedding.

    Maiden's Biggest Missed Opportunities Live

Well indeed there are some stuff I'd change. Iron Maiden: Almost every song from the band's debut always make their comeback now and then (SW and CTH could be played a bit more though). My only complaint here goes regarding the times Phantom of the Opera is played. Yes, it has been featured in...

which one song would you definitely like to have back in the next setlist?

Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, Phantom Of The Opera, Sign Of The Cross or Murders In The Rue Morgue could be played at every gig as far as I'm concerned. Killers, Genghis Khan, To Tame A Land, Still Life, Aces High (provided it's not the closer), Powerslave, Sea Of Madness, Moonchild, Infinite...

Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

To be fair if the guys would make a farewell tour I would go for a much more classic and hit driven setlist, with the last show being extra long with the band at least 1 song from each album. Something like this: The Number Of The Beast Wrathchild Two Minutes To Midnight The Writing On The...

Create your own Iron Maiden setlist!

It's ok but a bit long and not one of my favorites. Hey it's a good song but not the one I'd pick. All great songs. I'm all aboard. BQOBD is a monster, Clairvoyant is a superb cut and Infinite Dreams is easily on my top 20. As for the rest I love "Boots" but Still Life is top notch IMO so I'd...

I'd go with something like this: Senjutsu (debut at the time) Stratego (debut at the time) Wrathchild Infinite Dreams Montségur (debut) The Writing On The Wall (debut at the time) Fortunes Of War (debut with Dickinson) The Trooper The Days Of Future Past (debut at the time) Lost In A Lost World...

    The Future Past tour 2023

Yeah... Draconian Times was pretty bad tour for Nick Holmes. He was totally burnt from years of touring while adapting his growls to a more singable tone.
