    Judas Priest

Judas Priest - Invincible Shield Despite already having more than half a century of career, I think it's arguably accepted that present days Judas Priest is enjoying one of their best eras ever. Redeemer Of Souls was a truly enjoyable album and to say Firepower is an all-around fan favorite is...

    Bruce Dickinson

Once again there's a point where we disagree: be it metal or any other genre all I want is to enjoy the songs (no matter if they feature ten solos each or none at all). But then again, it's all a matter of perspective and taste so to each his own.:ok:

    Bruce Dickinson

Agreed. Perhaps the only exceptions being Accident Of Birth and A Tyranny Of Souls (somewhat similar style wise) but I also love both Bruce and Roy will to always bring something new. Amen to that. I wouldn't say "prove himself" but a compromise with excellence and I think you kinda gave a nod...

    Bruce Dickinson

I can´t see what's missing and the riffs are more than enough IMO. Sometimes less is more and this sure feels like a good example for me (unlike SJ or TBOS). So agree to disagree. Nonetheless I'm glad you enjoyed it. That's the most important part.

    Bruce Dickinson

In Portugal it peaked at #5... quite cool.

    Bruce Dickinson

So, after a somewhat long hiatus (due to intense work reasons) here I am again to give my 2 cents about Bruce's new offer. BRUCE DICKINSON - THE MANDRAKE PROJECT Let me begin by saying that I wasn't expecting Bruce to leave my jaw on the floor with something of the same caliber as The Chemical...

    The Future Past Tour 2024

Moaning??? :o These people are delusional to say the least. Impressive as hell for his age!

    The Future Past Tour 2024

I disagree, but hey, it's fine... opinions. Another curious fact is that most of the songs on this tour are really demanding. That even increases my respect for Bruce "turning back the clock".

    The Future Past Tour 2024

As far as I'm concerned it sounds pretty decent! Bruce's voice on this tour seems reinvigorated (the last tour I can remind of when he sounded better was Maiden England) and given the circumstances Nicko also delivers. So, I'm not worried about how a live album for this tour would sound like...

    Iron Maiden Covers

Yup. Raphael is a beast (no pun intended).

Which album cover Eddie do you like better: Book Of Souls or Senjutsu?

They're both good. But nonetheless, if Senjutsu's cover was this with a background with burning pagodas... (man I love Eddie's expression here so much!) ... and TBOS' cover was this... ... now these would be two covers for the ages! And it would be a close call. As it is I like them both...

    Bruce Dickinson

The little they show on the clip looks and sounds GOOD... REAAAAAAAAAAALLY GOOD! Heavy, epic and mystical AF. Bring it on!

    Senjutsu - 20 Months Later

I don't know about the USA but here it's seldom revered as a top 3 record.

Rank the Steve Solo efforts on Senjutsu

Hell On Earth Lost In A Lost World Death Of The Celts The Parchment Four songs that, despite some "flaws" vary from great to excellent IMO.

    Senjutsu - 20 Months Later

Besides some traits that annoy me (especially the vocal mimicking lead guitar... please boys just get rid of that one) I think that the last two albums were really cool, given how deep the band is on their career and how old are some of their members. I mean I don't care much about some tracks...

Official Iron Maiden artwork and fan drawn Eddies (no AI images please)

As I said before the heart ripping Eddie from The Book Of Souls would be one of the best Maiden covers ever IMO. When it comes to Senjutsu the official cover is really ok. Don't like much the inside illustration. That being said my favorite one from the lot is the back cover. The damn thing...

MANEIRO! IMO blows away the original cover (not that it is hard by any means). Anyways... was it you who did it (in other words are you Rómulo)? :D Abraço de Portugal.

If this was the record's cover (no matter if it was green or blue) it would be simply awesome. Perhaps they didn't risk it because it's too explicit and didn't wanted to go through a similar situation to The X Factor. Or Rod simply messed up once again. :P

If Maiden played a sixth Blaze era song live with Bruce?

Every song from that album is a great choice IMO
