    Christopher Lee

Don't laugh, but it's Russell Crowe  B) Hehe, I usually respond like that when people say gothic metal is cheesy :D lyrics like ''Let thy dusk embrace my heart...'' is just CHEESE  :yey:

    Something I'm curious about....

I'm 99% sure that Bruce is not a christian. In an interview (on this site, on the Piece of Mind or Powerslave section) he said that he's not religious, but is interested in the subjects of religion, the occult, etc... The source for Nicko's christianity is that he said something like ''Only God...

    Christopher Lee

Christopher Lee is my second favourite actor of all time, and he is a man of many talents. Rhapsody and Manowar are boring and silly, even in the flower metal genre. Maybe CL's aura of awesome will overshadow the metal bands  ::)

    The Hangover Thread

Last night was the second-to-last weekend in the ''russ'' period in Norway. Alot of nice girls, lots of alchohol and insanely loud (crap) music  :yey: getting hungover so often can be tiring :/ It's funny that we celebrate the end of school and the final exams BEFORE we actually do the exams...

Oh God NO! Why Janick, WHY?!?!?!?!?!?!

Most of the comments there are funny, and I even liked the suggestion about taking the ''statue'' with them on tour, but you always get the usual shit when Janick is involved. They seem to forget that he's been in the band for 20 years  B)

    New album: The Final Frontier!

Well, that is how text communication works; it's really hard to know how to interpret things  :P I have seen fights start online because someone was being ironic, but the receiver didn't get the joke. :ok:

    New album: The Final Frontier!

:uhm: People have different tastes, you know. Some people think Dream Theatre is dreadful to listen to, while others get eargasms everytime, I listen to early My Dying Bride (a band that plays slow and crushing doom metal in songs that usually clocks in at over 9mins) and I can listen to that...

    New album: The Final Frontier!

They'll probably do the same set as always (or maybe they'll go crazy and play Children of the Damned).

    Which song(s) contain(s) your favourite guitar solo(s) on: 10. The X-Factor

Well, what can you do about it? This is an open forum; people can vote however they pelase. I should say that I agree with you, but I don't think there is anything to be done :) I voted for Fortune of War and The Unbeliever. I think The Unbeliever has got the most unique solos in Maiden's...

Maiden should do a "Skeletons in the closet" tour..

Still, the vast majority considers it a pretty shitty song :P Hehe and notice how no one actually said it was a bad song, you just assumed we disliked it :P that's the kind of reputation that song have.

Maiden should do a "Skeletons in the closet" tour..

It would be hilarious if they played ''The Angel and the Gambler'' live  :D just for fun

I agree with Forostar about Weekend Worrior, those solos are amazing.

Is the Paul Stenning book REALLY that bad? Advice please..

Run to the Hills fails in one respect: it spends the first half of the book detailing every concert, tour and event with the band from 75-82, the ''golden era'' is covered in very few pages. I guess the ''old days'' are more interesting, but it would be nice to have the same details on that era...

    New album: The Final Frontier!

I find these fake tracklisting entertaining and (sometimes) amusing :P I don't really see the problem of false information floating around; when the album comes out it'll be clear to anyone anyway.
