You make great points for sure. And I agree that a band like Kiss does have some staples...(Detroit, Rock & Roll All Nite, etc). But honestly I do think the band conveniently overstates this.

Wasting Love is a good choice on the surface because it's a quasi power ballad, but I still think it's a heavy song...
Choosing something completely different I think Running Free has always had a lightness and bounce to it (musically anyhow). Never been a fan of the song either, as it turns out.
