    Best Eddie

Good points, but still. Look at the prophet Eddie with the crystal ball on the Seventh Son innersleeve. That is detailed and a beautiful piece. Neither rushed nor uncared for. Maybe for the singles he rushed it, but he was still doing great work.

    Best Eddie

I think he still gave a shit in 1988. Look at the awesome Seventh Son cover, the 3 initial singles Can I Play with Madness, The Evil That Men Do and The Clairvoyant were all awesome and the tour books (all three of them) featured great artwork. It was more like after the one year sabbatical in...

Chris Cornell Survivor - Fell On Black Days Wins!

Big PJ fan as well. But Pushin Forward Back is among my faves off this one. Very Soundgardenish. Hope it gets far. Look forward to Euphoria Mourning joining in to see how it does against the TOTD and Soundgarden classics from 1990 onwards. Great album.

What's your favourite post reunion album and why? #2

I sincerely wish A Tyranny of Souls was an option here. Bruce sounds brilliant on it.

    The essential bootlegs?

It is indeed lol. Sounds like both of them "hammering" on drums there.

    The essential bootlegs?

Work in progress... Seventh Tour of a Seventh Tour - this one is hard, there are many brilliant bootlegs and I may be omitting some that others would include. Here goes: 1988-04-29 Cologne - warm up gig before the US tour, mine is marked version 3 and is excellent. The Trooper, 2 Minutes to...

Cool. I'm going to listen through the Seventh Tour bootlegs I have soon. There are definitely some great ones if I recall correctly.

    The essential bootlegs?

Listened to San Francisco 1985, and it's not bad at all. In the process also found: 1985-01-28 Largo - sound is a bit distant, but not so bad. Very raw recording but quite decent. 1985-07-05 Laguna Hills - the last date of the tour and it is actually a pretty good gig.

    Best Iron Maiden Chorus?

I forgot this one: 22 Acacia Avenue. Awesome avenue of acacias.

That is one of the best from that tour indeed! Did you listen to Pietre Lugie? The "cheese shop" gig? Funny stuff. And energetic as well.

    The essential bootlegs?

I'm hard pressed to find any that are worth seeking out. Rio was officially released. So many have poor sound, maybe: 1985-01-2 New York - because Losfer Words is played. Or all the Long Beach ones for comparisons with Live after Death. Let me know if you unearth any decent 1985 ones

    The essential bootlegs?

Excellent list, I think I have heard all of them. Naples 86, however, I need to re-visit.

Alright. Let me know when you get to the Somewhere On Tour bootlegs. Then I can continue with the Seventh Tour recommendations if you like.
